Fun fact: When Teto is trying to not get hypnotized, her eyes eventually get black too, but it doesn't have the white circle, which in my opnion, means that she ALMOST got hypnotized

I feel like this song is talking about how life chips away at us in our darkest moments and we try our best not to give in to our thought and when miku got hypnotyzed it looked like she was hanged which shows how she gave in to depression meanwhile teto didn't give in till the very end ❤️ I hope you have a good day ☺️
One thing that I noticed that I don’t think a lot of people see is that before the quiz, their pupils are kinda like stars. After/during the quiz, their eye pupils are shaped like ovals. During and after the part where miku’s eyes lose all color, their pupils are completely gone.
At the start it was probably all fun and games, till after the first chorus or whatever Tetto started to realized something was wrong, and maybe Miku? But refused to actually believe or accept it and live in a fake reality, while Tetto did vice versa.
I like how puppet like Miku becomes after full hypnosis. She can do sort of non human moves. And Teto is absolutely scared of how gullible Miku was to the hypnosis. Teto couldn’t resist the hypnosis, and becomes like Miku in the last few frames.

Teto represents the red pill, while milue represents the blue pill. 0:35 teto's hand gesture is making the "help" thing. 0:51 teto's blinking "SOS". 1:11 quiz time, the first letter in each quiz spells help. 1:17 again, teto's doing the hand gesture saying "help". 1:21 miku is being hypnotized, not by the screen and also the song too, 1:28 miku gets hypnotized. Teto is blurring her eyes and the music fades, days passing by fast, and the screen shaking faster, saying that teto endured from being hypnotized, for days. 1:38 cut. 1:51 as teto is dancing, teto is looking at miku (probaly trying to get her attention). 2:03 teto is shocked, stops from the beat then continues on. 2:11 miku is off beat. 2:16 excessive amount of confetti. 2:33 teto gets hypnotized. The animation makes us think that this is all fun and cute-sy, not recognizing the gestures and the signal teto makes, then it becomes clearer at the end. Mesmerizer is also hypnotising us, you know just like those yt shorts or tiktok videos?, it hypnotizez for you to keep scrolling. From what i said earlier miku being the blue pill and teto being the red pill is like two people make life choices, blue pill is blissful ignorance, and red pill is facing the painful reality. This info wasn't discovered by me but a yt video "analyzing mesmerizer" from udin.

i really like this dub! the only thing i feel i have to say that's preventing me from fully enjoying it is the changes to the backing that was made, its deeper in this version and it feels like the higher melody parts are drowned out by the voices and the beat where in the original it worked with the voices. i get you don't want it to be louder than the voices but the dee doo do do part was like, one of the more fun things in the original and its sad you can barely hear it in the version that actually is in a language i can understand. aside from that though the lyrics and singing voices are really good and doesn't even seem to struggle so much with the talking to fast problem that most translations face outside of the very beginning.
yeah the beat being slightly different really throws me off😭 and like you said it kinda ruins the rhythm of it. which is unfortunate bc otherwise this cover is really good, the translated lyrics fit really well with the original and i love their voices

1:17 and 0:36 - teto doing the help hand sign
0:26 sounds like an advertisment
1:06 until 1:17 - the first letters and third letters say help and sos
1:20 - miku is getting hypnotised like a coin swinging before her eyes
1:29 - you have to avoid hearing the song to avoid getting hypnotised and tetos eyes were black but didn't have the white circle like miku so she barely avoided getting hypnotised
1:37 - teto makes a small "huh" sound and they're in a green screen so the place with the grass and clouds were fake
1:38 - mikus arms and legs are bent a little
1:50 - when teto dances the blue parts except for the star thingy gets darker and darker and she keeps her eyes on miku until the end
2:05 teto tries to go with the flow while keeping her eyes on miku
The thumbnail means sos their poses and the star thingy
And the number of confetti changes as you watch the video too
Theory: avoid hearing the song so you can't get hypnotised and the person behind all of this is not real instead is an ai and teto listens to other sounds to avoid listening to the song and all of them are being forced to do this.

One thing most people haven't noticed is that the ground//grass moves when Miku and Teto are just dancing//standing, so they can't be traveling. The background then changes to a notebook paper for the Quiz. Then, at 1:37, the green screen confirms that it isn't real.
Edit: When Miku and Teto have their first lines of the song, the background is paper, tear drops, yellow stripes, and then stars.
