I get Ginny being upset, I do, but she can’t say that her mom didn’t do EVERYTHING she could for her. She sacrificed again and again. Her secrets were to PROTECT her. I get her being upset because her life was a lie and she’s a teenager, but she has to understand WHY Georgia did what she did. It might not have been ethical, but it was always for Ginny and Austin, ALWAYS. She did everything she could, she lied, she stole, she cheated, she killed so that Ginny would never have to. So that Ginny could be happy and healthy and have an amazing life she didn’t get to have. She loves her children more than anything in the entire world. No, she isn’t perfect, but she’s GOOD to her kids. She’d die for them. Happily. Ginny can’t see that.

My mother nearly did once, she had just found out her husband had been abusing her daughters (sister and me) for years and nearly killed him in his sleep, she didn’t cuz there’d be no one else to look after us, and she didn’t want him to die without knowing that his sins were the cause of his death.
She told the police officer who later arrested him this, the police officer said “u know ure not meant to be telling me this right?” She simply said “I know, but they’re my children, and he hurt them” AS IF IT WAS THE MOST REASONABLE EXPLANATION THERE IS
edit: i just want to clarify and say that my mother is one of the most affectionate mothers there is, she had just learnt what he had been doing that day and blinded by all those terrible emotions she nearly did the unspeakable, it by no means reflects the type of person/mother she is. She simply was over come with the emotions that the man she thought she could trust with the people she loved most turned out to be an absolute monster. just thought i'd clarify-

I asked my mom if she would kill for me or my brother and she simply said yes.
