I think the writers will go into that direction. Paul is great, but I get a feeling something will happen to him. And then Joe will be the one that's left. Or maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. The thing that is confusing as she already knew that it was joe that same joe with that sunglasses why she was acting she doesn't know , and during her wedding when ginny brought horse she knew it was joe's horse

I think had Joe responded differently when she asked him “I don’t know do you” to him knowing her she would’ve revealed she knew him. He had forgotten about her so she probably didn’t see a point in reminding him especially since this town was a fresh start for her.
