I went to Itaewon dozens of times when I lived n Seoul for a year in 1990 while in my early 20's.
Undoubtedly some of the most gorgeous women in the entire world.
Some of them were so beautiful they didn't even look real.
They get a lot of plastic surgery i hear!
I had the opportunity to visit this area back in 1997 and was a really wonderful experience. I love their culture!!

Totally unrecognizable from when I was there in 1968. I was in a Korean rock n roll band that played in the Itaewon clubs. Loved every minute of it.

There are many tall Koreans yes but it seems like many foreigners in Korea are usually short and skinny. So it makes Korean guys look taller. But overall you'll see many Koreans over 6 foot it is very common but rare in other asian countries.

koreans have gotten jacked! a few decade ago I was stationed there and was into body building and trying to get my korean friends into, and they would just tell me "koreans dont do that", they just did not want to lift weights! most men were built like children. I am Korean. The Itaewon disaster is a tragedy that has never been found anywhere in the world. It was broadcast live and remained a great trauma to Koreans. There was too much sacrifice to learn the lesson. It was a place where many people gathered every year, and until last year, the police controlled it so well that people enjoyed Halloween safely. But this year was very different. Police did not take control as they used to, even though they had already expected 200,000 people to gather. The president's loyal prosecutorial subordinates were not interested in the safety of citizens. Evidence later revealed that police in the Itaewon area had repeatedly asked the government to recruit much more police personnel to control citizens few days several times before it happened but were repeatedly ignored by the president's loyal subordinates. They saw the citizens gathered in Itaewon as potential law offenders and were only busy building results by taking journalists to the streets of Itaewon, focusing only on cracking down on drugs. Most Koreans believe that the prosecutor-turned-president gave the order. Then eventually, the Itaewon disaster occurred. The previous government regarded people themselves as the greatest value, and the new government is mocking the Korean people. Citizens were tricked into electing a prosecutor-turned-president by a narrow margin by dirty vested media spreading fake news. Then we ended up with the terrible result of the Itaewon tragedy. I still agree that democratic elections are the best system. However, when the majority of the media is strongly controlled by capital or by certain powers, it blocks the eyes and ears of citizens, and consequently, citizens make the worst choice. The South Korean media, which turned to the far right, chose the worst president. However, more than 80 percent of Koreans realized that they had been deceived. Korean citizens will ask the government legally responsible for the disaster until the end and send those involved or even the president to prison just like before, even if it takes a long time. Only then will the victims' families be comforted a little, and the guilt left in the hearts of Koreans will be healed a little.
