"Songs of Kamui (Kamui no Uta)" Trailer (#1)2022.01ver

Higashikawa in Hokkaido is currently producing the film "Songs of Kamui (Kamui no Uta)", based on the true story of Ms. Yukie Chiri, an inheritor of Ainu folklore, who was born in 1903 and passed away at the young age of 19. Higashikawa, where Daisetsuzan National Park is located, has been making this film in cooperation with all of Hokkaido. With the purpose of passing on "Taisetsuzan culture" as well as Ainu culture to the next generation, "Songs of Kamui" will be completed in September, 2023. We hope to have the film presented at international film festivals around the world starting from the winter of 2023.
