I appreciate what you do cgb! Your channels been on in the background through getting married, buying a house, moving to another state, switching jobs, and many smaller ups and downs. I’ve probably watched more minutes of your videos than Netflix and my wife thinks I’m weird for it but it’s hard to explain. You’ve become this familiar comforting voice even though we’ll probably never meet in person and I’m sure that’s true for many of us. 🙏🙂
I mean a big part of it is that CGB is one of the best magic players in the world. I've literally learned so much from watching him and I can tell that absorbing the way he plays has definitely made me a better player.

Congrats on the 5 arena years, CGB! I started watching the channel a couple years ago and since then I've gotten my PhD, moved to a different country, started two new jobs, and made Mythic a few times when I had the time to spare (all equivalent level achievements there of course).

Hey CGB. I was seeing the end of the video and I could not pass without saying thank you. I found your channel at the end of 2019 and I haven't missed a single video since then. Even when is not standard I love watching and learning from your videos. It got to be something so common at home that when my girlfriend enters the living room, she always says: "oh, you are watching CGB", and then points at your face in the television and says "you're cool". Sometimes she just seats with me watching even not being a magic player because she finds your videos entertaining. So I could kind of say that you are part of our daily routine. For everything, thank you. You are definitely cool!

33:56 I’m pretty sure I started watching you either just before or just as Arena was released. There are probably less than a dozen of your videos that I haven’t watched. For better or worse you’ve been a part of my digital diet for a long time and the value of that sort of thing is unquantifiable. I agree with you, CGB. I hate toxicity, BUT I admit that the anonimity is one of those things that make this game what it is. One of my guilty pleasures is laughing loud when I frustrate an enemy play or celebrate when I win a tough game. Those are the kind of things I don't do face to face because I don't like to make my opponents feel bad.
On Christmas, I'll be playing for a year each and every day and, as of now, I'm enjoying the ride. Thanks for another great video.

It fits neatly into many slower strategies.
It ain't no Bankbuster, sure, but that just means the card is less ubiquitous, and we see it rarely enough that we're not bored of it yet.

Or maybe they know their deck and know there's nothing they can do against a control deck, especially this late in a game. Conceding is the best option. Saves everyone's time. Of course, this opponent ended up being worse and roping you, but that's another discussion.

I've been around for you full ride.. AND I started arena in February (sadly I didn't get in early). I play nearly every day.. I know I've missed days.
SALTY ARMY IS LEGION
Putting the Realmbreaker on the bottom of your deck makes this seem less like a mill deck and more like an annoy your opponent into scooping deck. They could likely win every game if they just held on.
This is more evil than my control deck with one copy of White Sun’s as the win condition.

I crushed this deck yesterday twice (playing esper planeswalker)
It's actually a pretty bad deck, it cant' deal with most of what the opponent plays.

The ironic thing here is... most of the time the "win con" does not even need to hit the board. It is really frightining to see that you can win just with enough counters and board wipes, just because the opp gives up out of frustration. That's scary, isn't it?
This deck is too nice, needs to cut realmbreaker and sunset revelry for shigekis and endless detours.
