I have been enjoying the smoker items you have made so far. I would really like to see you do a monthly smoker video. That would be awesome. I love what you both share with all of us. Thanks
my neighbor said once, Chicken eggs are meatless chicken which didn't make a lot of sense to me, but. I tried like sweet and salty chicken wings at a deli job I had once. Loved it. Num!
They look so good and it makes me think, what about taking it a step further and making smoked deviled eggs. OR smoked egg salad. Putting these on a salad. Wow. How about...smoked jalapeno pickled eggs... the possibilities are limitless. They would be an amazing addition to a charcuterie board. Thank you Kevin, I will be looking into getting one of those tubes for my grill.
I have been doing nerdy quail math with you for a few years now. We just moved to the ozarks and this motivated me to get quail on our homestead quicker than we originally expected. This looks like an amazing way to deal with the abundance you often have of quail eggs. And that egg peeler wow my wife and i were in awe of such a time saver. Thanks for the great vodeo and all the great ideas.
Good ☕️☕️ Morning Kevin & Sarah, this is something new & so interesting!I think I learn something new every time I watch your channel.Thank you & have a great week ahead.❤️
enjoyed the video and the information of fixing and smoking the quail eggs. would love to see the "whole and complete" deck that the smoker grill is on. thanks for the work and videos that you all share with us. have a great week end.
OH MY!! Yummy!! I don't have access to quail eggs but that peeler makes the thought of eating them possible 😉 I NEED that as I have zero patience even oeeking chicken eggs! I searched in You amazon stire & didn't find it!! Does it do chicken eggs? Please add it to Your store &/or spell out the name ao I can find it I also don't have a smoker... anyway to use an indoor convection oven at all?? I'm old & alone so I don't see a way to afford more equipment & that learning to smoke is going to happen... 😢 Thank You for the idea of bite sized smoky salty snacks!! LOVE that!! .More Blesaings upon You & Yours & continued prosperity in all You do!!
Mini egg quiche from quail eggs is always popular. I mix up rhe eggs, salt and pepper, pour into a mini muffin tin. I use 1.5 eggs per hole. I do some with crumbled sausage, crumbled bacon and some just eggs. Then top all with cheese.
A nice restaurant near me "Phatsy Kline's" makes "Quail Egg Shooters". The whites are removed and the raw yolks are put back in the shell with a little bit of black truffle oil and shoyu soy sauce, and served with a shot of Sake. They are so delicious. I think egg yolk really helps bring out the flavor of black truffle oil. The "Quail Egg Shooters" probably have the most positive feedback on Yelp reviews on their menu. I have made them myself a few times, IF I ever can get fresh quail eggs.
Wow, Kevin! I didn't think there was anything in the world that could taste better than your spicy pickled quail eggs. I have friends begging me for them. But I'm gonna try smoking a batch of them and see how they go over. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Looks yummy! QUESTION: Someone on Facebook is having an issue, their American Bresse eggs are not tasty, they were asking if something they eat could be affecting the taste of the eggs. I have never had an issue like this, but I do not have Bresse. So have you all noticed a different flavor in the Bresse eggs. Personally I don't like Pekin eggs because mine always tasted fishy and gross. But our other ducks eggs did not, they were pretty much like the chicken eggs.
You may not have heard but new studies indicate increased heart disease and stroke risk w the use of erythritol. Its early and yall are in good shape so minimal use they say may still be ok. I wish I could give you a reference article. I have health issues, neuropathy so I was searching for a splenda and equal alternative because they jave neuro effects and pain and saw this.
Hey Kevin and Sarah. We are dehinately going to try smoking quailmeggs when er get them back. We are so glad that you are enjoying the quail from what was some if the last quail eggs we shipped. We love quail eggs cooked in an Ebelskiver pan with toppings of choice. I will send you a link to our video as to not hijack your comment thread. Your friends over here at AJ Farms, LLC
How many ways to make stuffed (deviled eggs) eggs! Like a hundred I'd bet! Would those taste good sliced and added to a burrito with sausage and some kind of sauce or gravy?
I literally just steamed some eggs on my lunch break to make deviled eggs tonight for a party. Once I tried the steaming method, I've never gone back to boiling them. They peel easily, the small amount of water doesn't take long to boil and then just 15 minutes on the timer and they're done. No more waiting around for a full pot to boil. And I will never forget the time I fell asleep and woke to exploding eggs because my pot of water had boiled away. 😲
Hi Kevin and Sarah! Love to watch that peeler peel the quail eggs. I will have to try that method on some regular eggs. Thanks for the ideas. QUESTION: Do you find the Swerve brown sugar really sweet? I have to use half of what they call for in a recipe when I use the brown sugar so my recipe isn't overly sweet. Maybe just my taste buds. Take care! Blessings to all!
Very Impressive egg methods, Kevin. I have been schooled. So many great tips. .. Gonna try some Liquid Smoke in brining process. Works great in bbq sauce; can't hurt. --🍒
When I was younger, living in Asia, I loved quail eggs on a stick. Almost like this but they were strung on bamboo skewer 5 or 6 eggs per stick. And they're marinated in soy sauce. I could eat 3 or more skewers per day if my mom wouldn't stop me.
Thank you Kevin for a great video! I’m going to talk with my niece who has a abundance of chicken eggs, see if we can make these together. I’m looking forward to try these. I quick snack with protein is always good! God Bless!
Steaming eggs instead of boiling them makes the eggs creamy and the shell practically falls off. I never boil my eggs anymore. Thanks for the demonstration.
oh... wish i had a smoker and quail eggs would be affordable in my country. I would love to try this and maybe even try making a smoked eggsalad out of them.
OMG Kevin. Firstly, I’m one of your huge fans❤. Your enthusiasm is contagious, but here I part ways with you. Those eggs ARE NOT easy, although I’m sure they are delicious. May I invite you to come to my house to prepare them? 🤓😂🥰
Does boiling them so long make them chewy or overcook the yolks? Are the yolks still yellow when done or are they kinda green? We pickle eggs and want to try this method for that but I'm curious about the longer boiling time and texture that my customers like. I don't want them rubbery for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Hi i really love your video's . I got a couple questions . How long do you brine your Turkeys and Chickens for ? Are there any more steps be for smoking them ?
Love it ..I need to get myself a smoker and make smoked quail eggs they look so good you & your family eat so well…Best
Great video 👍🏼❤
I have never before heard stir your eggs when boiling to get a 'centered yolk' Im going to try that next time. :)
I have been enjoying the smoker items you have made so far. I would really like to see you do a monthly smoker video. That would be awesome. I love what you both share with all of us. Thanks
Yummy!!! Looks like your deck turned out amazing!!!! Kevin, you may want to get a grill mat to protect your deck.
The view from the deck is pretty.
Those must really be delicious since they take so much effort and time to make them.
my neighbor said once, Chicken eggs are meatless chicken which didn't make a lot of sense to me, but. I tried like sweet and salty chicken wings at a deli job I had once. Loved it. Num!

Those look yummy!😊
I use monk sugar natural as well and won't spike your blood sugar
Wow. These look great!
We pickle them after we smoke them
Great video 👍👍
Thanks Kevin for the great video on smoking eggs, they sound awesome. Fred.
Hard boiled eggs marinated in buffalo wing sauce for at least 2 hours in the fridge. Gets better with each passing hour they marinate. :)
Do you rinse the buffalo sauce off after the 2 hours?
I smoked my first chicken eggs a little while ago. Turned out ok, but needed something, now I know what I am trying next!!! Thank you for the idea

Quit hiding your beautiful house exterior... please !
Those look pretty good. I do have question, did I miss a video where you showed what looks like an amazing porch or deck you have there?
Last week a neighbor dropped off 32 quail eggs. So far all I've done is hard boil them. 3 in a chef salad. I only chop them in half & not slice.
OH MY!! Yummy!! I don't have access to quail eggs but that peeler makes the thought of eating them possible 😉
I NEED that as I have zero patience even oeeking chicken eggs!

Wonderful taste profile; I may have to get a smoker tube! Thanks for sharing !
I have a Plethora of chicken eggs and will try this recipe with them. Thanks!!!
Make egg salad with an instant pot. Super easy. No peeling eggs just crack open
What a cool idea! Love this! Val C
I will try this, but will add a dipping sauce, like a garlic aioli with a dab of dijon mustard.

Eggs look so yummy
Try making smoked deviled eggs! That would be delicious 😋
Pickled eggs are great, too! Using vinegar, garlic, turmeric, dill seed, onion etc.
Hi Kevin good to see you in the kitchen👍🏻

Looks tasty.
Could you in your next Q&A video show the fencing around your deck & where you bought it, PLEASE, Thank you.
The egg video was great.
Thank you Kevin for sharing this recipe with us it will go perfectly with the smoked cheese we give at Christmas time.
That sounds really good Kevin. Unfortunately, Qual eggs are too expensive to buy here in Oregon.
Thank you, Kevin!
Looks yummy!

And the fresher the egg, the better the peel. I love my automatic peeler. I'm gonna try this this this morning. I've got about 60 eggs.

Hello Kevin and Sara I was just wondering do y'all ever go to Homestead of America conference
Curious as to what flavor of pellets you use?
what a GREAT peeler
Got a glimpse of the fall colors when you were at the smoker!!!! So pretty !!!
Definitely looking.good.
Kevin have you tried steaming the eggs. I have done that with fresh chicken eggs and it works great. Makes the pealing super easy
How long do you steam them?
@@eldenl1 Kinda like Kevin is doing. Do you want hard or soft so the longer the harder but about the same as boiling

💚 Those brined and smoked quail eggs look deelish! Very cool, functional and time-saving little quail egg peeler! Thanks, Kevin! 💚
How do you store them?

I salt cure egg yolks, I wonder how they'd be on the smoker now lol. Imma try it with the next batch
Thank you Kevin for a great video! I’m going to talk with my niece who has a abundance of chicken eggs, see if we can make these together. I’m looking forward to try these. I quick snack with protein is always good! God Bless!
I also have an abundance of chicken eggs and was thinking the same thing.
Holey smokes, you guys nailed it on how to peal the quail eggs!! Boy, does that make things easier or what?!? Thanx!!!
Steaming eggs instead of boiling them makes the eggs creamy and the shell practically falls off. I never boil my eggs anymore. Thanks for the demonstration.
For chicken eggs, how long do you steam them?
@@anica935for 9-12 egg about 13 to 15 minutes. If you want softer yolks less time.
Never knew to stir for a centered yolk.
Keto homesteading for the win!
That does look quite tasty! Thank you.
Ooohhh! Awesome timing! I have a plethora of guinea eggs. This is a perfect idea. Trying it today!
They look yummy, Kevin! Blessings 🤗🙏
oh... wish i had a smoker and quail eggs would be affordable in my country. I would love to try this and maybe even try making a smoked eggsalad out of them.
I may have missed it, but how do you store the smoked eggs (do they need refrigerated)?
What a creative idea! Never heard of this before!😊
They looked really good!
I'm def going to try this! Thanks, Kevin!
Thanks for this. Love quail eggs, love smoking things-just never did both together. Do you store in a ziploc or? in the fridge...
