What muscles in the arms / shoulders could we monitor for electrical activity when stimulating the prefrontal cortex using TMS? Are there biomarkers from specific regions of the muscles which could be used to show that magnetic pulses from a coil placed on either the right or left prefrontal cortex are stimulating action potentials in some region(s) of the body, possibly initiated by a specific bodily / muscular movement in conjunction with the TMS pulses in the prefrontal cortex? I have built an sEMG system which I am trying to find biomarkers for activity in the prefrontal cortex induced by TMS treatments.
