One of my absolute favorite songs by Ms. Baker! My dad and I saw her Vegas show on 5/23/22. It was simply amazing! Her voice is still in impeccable shape for being 64-years-old. Anita can still hit the high notes with ease. She performed all of her acclaimed hits but I do wish she would’ve performed this song. Yes, it’s one of her later hits (2004) but it still would’ve been awesome to hear her perform it.
Anita’s super sultry voice takes me to a completely different level! Her voice became even more mature and sultry as she’s gotten older. Just beautiful! ❤️
This album is nostalgic. I remember rushing home from work in 2004 to purchase the CD along with Fantasia's debut album as well well as Destiny child's "Destiny Fulfilled" album. I was the first in line. I'm happy to say that my partner and family makes me understand the deeper meaning of this song.❤☮🥰
