Nothing wrong with a ram, If I was to buy a brand new truck, it'd be a ram 3500 with a cummins (You'll not catch me dead in a ford, and i work for a chevy dealer and deal with their problems daily). I'm a mopar guy at heart, coming from sweptlines from the 60's(all my previous trucks have been 60-70 sweptlines, and one jeep j10)...all the way up to my current load hauler which we have had since it was brand new in 96(12v cummins with a p-pump, Hardened nv4500, twin disc clutch, full banks kit, pac brake, airdog, injectors, and dial-a-fuel....we use it for hauling) But My dad took me home the day i was born in a 77 k5 blazer, and the smell of the vinyl is unique and comforting to me. Guess thats why I just recently picked up a project C10, what REALLY surprised me was how CHEAP all the parts for a chevy is compared to a classic mopar.
Back when I was in high school a lot of the other students I went to school with had square body pickups. I graduated in 2000 & after that, I haven't been seeing as many of those square bodies on the roads anymore.
My dad had a short bed stepside that was lifted and had a Chevy 350 swap a it was dirt brown Sadly he had to sell it This video gave me memories of the old beast
My brother just passed away and he left me his square body. He built that truck from the ground up. He had always had so many dreams of doing certain things to his truck but wasn't able to. I cannot wait to be able to do all the things he's wanted to do on his truck for him.
Ive had my 74 Scottsdale 20 for 20 years , 350 auto with 6in lift 35in BF all terrains, new blue paint w/blk int .redone 14 years ago , it's my only truck , I use it as my main pickup. I love it , it's simple, tough and reliable
it all depends on what I need it for . I like both . I like the long beds jacked up for heavy work and a little mud or trails here and there . I like the short beds for sportiness lowered a little for cornering and speed . although if its a squarebody with a good motor in it its should do at least 140mph lol
I noticed that most (if not all) of these trucks have the smaller (2.5") pipes...I put 3" pipes on my Chevy and it made a 1000% better sound...not to mention the extra HP from doing this...TRY IT!!!
Obviously don't got a fuckin clue about vehicles then cuz you can make anything sound like anything look up a 74 dentside and tell me it dont sound the same im not even a ford fanboy I like some but i dont prefer them and yet i can still say you should really do research cuz that was retarded
I have a question about squarebodies. I love the look of the step sides, but I need a long bed for what I do. Does anyone know if they made any long bed step sides? Ive only seen short beds
Exactly, I have two chevys, a 2008 Silverado and a 1974 k20, the Silverado has electrical issues and I just put a fuel pump in it for $700, while the old one needed a fuel pump a few years back and it was about $80, fancy electric crap sucks, I’d definitely buy one without all that crap on it!
If square body chevys sounded as good as fords, there would be no competition. IRL, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, but none have it all.
Mrchevy70 it's not cam nor blower lol, dude is doing that with his foot. You still aren't 100% correct, my truck does that and it's most definantly not supercharged.. it even grunts the tires like a car with "blower surge" when in 4lo... so I mean
Everyone in school is obsessed with the new rams and im over here like "Does anybody remember the square bodies"
If you like squarebody content, i have alot on my channel
Brendan Walsh people In the city where my school is can’t spell truck and call chevys f150s
Nah they're thinking about the hideous abomination of a truck called the tesla cybertruck

What's your choice long bed or short bed please comment?

867diesel I'm with you brother the both are cool but what do you think about stepside bed?
I love both of them. I actually think a lifted short bed looks pretty badass (not too much lift). Building one myself currently.
Square Body Aholics me 2 like them both and you should show your project! what year is it?
Wats in the cars wat kind of v8 in They
I'd sell my soul for a 4 door square body. they are like the great white buffalo of the truck industry.

my 85' c10 sounds just like a majority of these trucks! -one thing ford trucks cannot sound like :)
sonicspaceturtle_ gaming Sound like what, a v8? You’re silly.

If you dislike this your most likely a soccer player
What do soccer have to do with anything?

Or it was because the lower trucks. If it's lowered like that then it's not a truck.
@@ItsJustFranko how the hell can a truck not be a truck? Lol
Anyone who like this video probably takes it up the ass
Just amazing trucks , I want to build a Fall Guy truck . Cheers

What engine is in the Chevy truck at 4:54??
A bigger one than at 3.50 but not as big as the one at 5.02
All the dislikes are ford owners with squatted trucks

Chevy is #1 on the side of the road
I got two Crew cabs for sale 4 x 4's
69 c10 here. Think 67-68 is prettiest though
What size came in the 2nd vid?
Why can't companies make real trucks like these again? New "trucks" are overpriced and way over complicated.
Just wait till my 572 is custom built
my is putting 350 bored to a 355 in his 81 square bidy

0:35 cams hard
Its fake as fuck, he's just doing it with throttle.. i fallow that dude on ig
A big cam doesn't make one sound like that, that is called "blower surge". Caused by a supercharger leaning out the idle mixture.
Mrchevy70 it's not cam nor blower lol, dude is doing that with his foot. You still aren't 100% correct, my truck does that and it's most definantly not supercharged.. it even grunts the tires like a car with "blower surge" when in 4lo... so I mean
Why is everything always from instagram,
Damn!
That yellow one was nasty!
Love Chevy's but they need them badass Ford's on here too
Why its a RUclips channel dedicated to chevys
That's second one is blown!
