Who cares what it looks like? It's clearly not trying to flaunt amazing graphics, it's trying to demonstrate immersive and highly intricate mechanics, I'd much rather be able to have an incredible level of detail and involvement to my actions in a VR game than have it just look pretty.

PCVR and PSVR 2 sidelined again. They could at least add a VR mode to the base game. It's so much easier to do for racing games than any other. Even EA are doing it with their latest racing games.
you should see thief simulator on quest thats impressive its a full open world thief game thats ultra in depth driving around going into every house almost everything in the game is interactable its on quest2 as well im baffled how they pulled that off Asgards wrath2 is another masterpiece but modded skyrim and fallout are still the goat

I was dreaming about this for years ! But why locking yourself on Quest platform only ? This would be amazing on PCVR/PSVR2 (not the best to sell the game, but the best way to reach players with youtubers/streamers showcasing it for you, and yes, to sell the game) !

Yes, there are around +20M quest 2 sold, but numbers are talking about 6,5M montly users which is still a great number ! Back in the hype days of the quest, exclusive quest 2 games went well, especially Meta ones, but all the other sucessful games were port from PCVR games. Latest indie Quest exlusive games or game that first launch on quest didn't have the success they could have some years ago, most crossplatform game did better ! As I said, PCVR isn't the platform to make money, but a good platform to reach more players, more reach = more players on the platform they have ! Check breachers, Ghost of tabor or Bonelab, most of YT content people see are mainly from PCVR version and you have players from PC and Quest. Also, PCVR isn't virtuallly dead, there are still around 2,5/3M users/month (according to steam surveys). Some games still have success on it.
Do you know how many copies the widely acclaimed 'vr game of the year Vertigo 2' sold on steamvr ? 50k . If I were a vr developer at this point I'd give a zero f about steam or psvr2 too

Quest3 sold over a million headsets and is heavily investing in gaming so I mean it’s really your choice what headset you get but Meta obviously doing what they doing to dominate the market and they are getting more and more people into VR slowly.

Ever since I first played Spintires I wanted a VR version, but I dont want a compromised experience when I have the hardware to play this in its full potential. I just hope you let me play it on PC with a wheel.

It is absolutely incomprehensible to me that one of the most VR-worthy titles of all time, with established and robust peripheral support, launches as a quest exclusive with peripheral support impossible. I just can't believe this. Back to BeamNG for my off-road VR fix.

Why not develop a niche platform together until it becomes more popular? The developers of vr headsets complain that the platform is dying and sales are falling, but nevertheless, such “geniuses” as meta continue to step on the same rake, making exclusivity. It's like Warner Bros, who, after the complete failure of suicide squad, concluded that they should continue to make game services. I want to see a beautiful picture in my vive pro 2 hmd, use the best tracking, and not sit in a standalone headset and look at limitations that shouldn’t exist.
