This sport is so unpredictable. Santiago was just a few years ago a top contender and now he doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar. I really hope he can bounce back! We all love great comeback stories: Oliveira and Jan are prime examples of such stories.
Only reason he isn’t on anyone’s radar is because his had a 3 year break and when he came back he lost. If he didn’t have that hiatus he would either be top 10 or in title contention right now.

He had so much momentum going for him after his win against Magny, but them injuries messed him up man. I'm actually rooting for Baeza but if Ponzi manages to win, I hope it's in vintage fashion.
Ponz was my guy. He came up at the same time as the current top guys at WW. Usman/Colby/Edwards, he was right there with them. Even ranked higher before his absents. Wonder if he can regain what he had. Leach was a tough fight after a 2+ year layoff.
Ponzinibbio was the absolute top prospect at WW before he was sidelined with all the medical issues. I really hope he can find back to his old form, though I sadly think it's unlikely. He may just be one of those "what could've been" stories.

He was just in his prime when he beat Magny but then all his injuries and some illness that was really bad. I think it almost killed him
Was turning into the next jbj with all the eye pokes every fight he had. Damm near ripped Mike perry's eye out.
He is unlucky with the injuries but maybe one shot took it all in Jinglang Li fight and he's still a beast
If Ponzinibbio can get like 3 wins or 2, I'd really like to see him fight Vicente Luque. Just feel like it'd be a war.
Ponz matches up perfectly with these top 10 welterweights
That would honestly be fight of the year I bet
That would be a great fight I just think the layoff has his ranking so low especially when he's won 9 of his last 10
Luque cannot be knocked out. He glasses people with his chin and then finish them off
