    This sport is so unpredictable. Santiago was just a few years ago a top contender and now he doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar. I really hope he can bounce back! We all love great comeback stories: Oliveira and Jan are prime examples of such stories.

      Only reason he isn’t on anyone’s radar is because his had a 3 year break and when he came back he lost. If he didn’t have that hiatus he would either be top 10 or in title contention right now.

    Ponz was my guy. He came up at the same time as the current top guys at WW. Usman/Colby/Edwards, he was right there with them. Even ranked higher before his absents. Wonder if he can regain what he had. Leach was a tough fight after a 2+ year layoff.

    Ponzinibbio was the absolute top prospect at WW before he was sidelined with all the medical issues. I really hope he can find back to his old form, though I sadly think it's unlikely. He may just be one of those "what could've been" stories.

    He was a monster before his injuries, an absolute contender. However, i'm afraid he will never be that fighter again. His injuries were really severe and he's already getting on in age. Thought he looked gunshy and slow in his last fight. Hopefully i'm wrong and he bounces back. Still want to see a matchup between Ponzi and Luque, a guerra for the ages!

    This sounds crazy I know because he doesn't have the skill to do it but this guy's physical attributes probably present the biggest threat to Usman in WW division- lots of power and AMAZING takedown defense, he just needs to develop until he can be in the top 5 .
