    Love your work dude!
Just a note for the younger viewers,
Pure detol strips the paint, takes a couple of days but better for your nose and skin, however, EVERYONE should ware gloves when doing this

Probably a silly question but with the black wash you apply, do you apply it on thick then with watch remove some? Would it work on figures too?

Seeing as its painted sample has been revealed (and it's very possible it will release in first half of 2025), what are your thoughts on Bachmann Sir Handel's model (and subsiquently, the Sir Haydn utilizing the tooling), and do you plan to modify it further if you buy iy?

I’ve already got it on order - assuming more accurate TR and Cr bodies will become available

@ While I'm unsure on Corris and 1950s-1960s bodies will be made RTR - there should be the 1970s ownwards conditions, bar the airbrakes on the side of the smokebox.

@ that’s what I’m holding out for. They won’t be long after the RTR drops

Honestly my Douglas was the last white metal kit, its not assembled well, i bought it like that 40€ only and tbh its good enough for me but all the troubles i had cuz its old shit was not worth it much more then getting a 3d printed one, i had to buy another chassis sind the plastic gears broke another 30€ gone this and that and i am at 100€ the one from westcliff works with percy chassis would have been 200€, and the white metal douglas is very back heavy motor behind the rear wheels cab behind thats the reason it runs not good i figured it out how to make it run atleast 1 or two laps on my layout but it was annoying

I think the colour problem is down to the white metal. I had a similar problem with taylyllan and dolgoch. Same shade of red. But taylylln has a slightly darker shade. To me I think it may very with what the loco's made of. In the end the falcon looks good. Really nicely done. Despite feelings.

Morning George. My Friday moring is enlivened ... thanks. Was the hamster in protective custody, or is Rupert OK with small scampering things?
The same Ibertren "cuckoo" chassis was indicated for the old Meridian Models 'Talyllyn' too and along with anything from Rodney Stenning's 009 stable, they're also like rocking horse droppings these days. Never previously seen one re-wheeled. Those trailing wheels .... the flanges are damned nearly the same size as the wheel centres!!
Those wear marks are a nice touch, though they recall an old question. How on earth was the Corris allowed to operate passenger services with such primitive coupling gear?
