At the beginning he sounded more like a pirate lol
I played this game for a little while, I liked it. Its not like a simulator or anything but it's fun
They try to make hiring sooooooo exciting, in reality you sit in a deer stand for hours and hours and probably won't see anything at all
When I was younger it took me for ever to find this but now I can rematch this as much as possible and I am glad you did this series even if you were not fond of it

Yes! I love how silly these games are.
Actually this looks to be better then all the other Cabela games. Little more polish it could be a very fun game. It'not just mindless murder of animals, it's now about animals that need to be killed for a reason. Also it's got RPG elements and seems open world now. Reminds me of FarCry 2.

I'm surprised PETA didn't have a field day with this game. If they can complain about something as cutesy as Animal Crossing, surely you would expect that a game that allows you to shoot endangered elephants and rhinos with no consequences would grab their attention.
Then togo teleports in with a rocket launcher and shoots the giant tiger.

......Jaguars don't hunt or live in groups and they certainly don't share meals....I don't what I expected. Cabela has never been realistic... as a hunter, all I can do is point and laugh
I don't see why everyone dislike this game, I find it decent though I am the type of person who tries hard to make a good time out of the smallest or most crappy shit possible.
the hunter is a game that is almost exactly like that, seananners, gassy, and chilled chaos all played it

Ah, Cabela's finally got a game engine made sometime this century. Yet it's still craptastic. Amazing. I love watching you play these though. They're just so hilariously bad lol

Why can't the animals just spawn in their natural bioms and behave like they really do instead of attack on sight. This is shredded cheese at it's finest. Don't animals normally run to begin the hunt?
It's looks like Red Dead Redemption... minus all of the things that made it decent.

I swear, it's like Cabela's and Activision were trying to recreate their old _Cabela's African Safari_, but in the "awesome" new way, full of cars, perks, level-ups, and stealth missions.
Which is sad, because _African Safari_ was actually a good, *hunting* game.
Benefit of being from the era of the *first* _Dangerous Hunts_, _Grand Slam Hunting: North American 29_, and the *original* _Outdoor Adventures_, I guess.

The series would be okay if they stop trying to make a COD out of it. They need to go back to the simulator formula. Have recreations of famous hunting grounds, various prey( that act in realistic ways), actuate guns( the way they sound , look, and work) and hunting supplies, and maybe some RPG elements for good measure. That would be an interesting game, and one worth playing.

This... isn't really the African Adventures I'd hoping for.
I'd expect some sort of upgraded versions of Cabela's African Safari, with better graphics, more hunting missions, more animals, more locations, ect. Not some sort of zombie shooter game where every "dangerous" animals are out for your blood.
Kootra let's go hunt for Cats, Ceinlys Swift wants a rifle. :D

cabelas on PS2 and Gamecube were awesome.

The 3rd-person gameplay reminds me a little of Star Wars: Battlefront.
The firsts game were awesome ! They were more like hunting simulator than an arcade game.. that's where they got it VERY wrong...
Now it's like a shot em' up with animals instead or monsters :S
But imagine this.. this same game but made as a hunting simulator with big open map and animals roaming free.. You need to lure them or set tree platform waiting patiently. Some animals really rare.. with the goal to get the best trophy on your mansion walls !!
To me it would be a instant favourite !
