Thank you so much Father for sharing this. I just started fasting last week, Wednesdays and Fridays, bread and water only, and after that first week I already experienced a big spiritual miracle. I am also noticing very big graces, particularly peace and stillness. I am praying for many miracles, one big one in particular. Thank you for sharing the words of Our Lady
I had a addiction I prayed to the Holy spirit and our lady it's thirty years I am free from my addiction thank god and our lady so prayed is wonderful and the rosary I pray for the holy souls they will help you god bless you all
It is nice also that some people have difficulty fasting. I worry that those who are too ascetic are 'unkind' in a way. Their example is unattainable and unattractive to some. If you do things like fast you probably should keep it a secret. A new way to think about things.
Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. This fasting doesn't make any sense God is going to give you some reward for fasting when you have food if so what is God giving the millions of people around the world who are fasting because they have nothing to eat can somebody give a logical explanation, to my thinking theres none
The rewards we get in the next life are the most valuable. See Luke 6:20-21 "Looking at his disciples, he said: 'Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied."
@@mick1gallagher ..if the words were from a multinational or a government that scepticism would be justified; but these are the words of Jesus. It provides hope. In fact, for all of us, it doesn't matter what adversity we face in life, if we live the life we are meant to live, the next life will be better.
There was a man that had been kidnapped for ransom. They barely gave him food. On the day if Independence the kidnappers asked him he could have whatever he wanted to eat/drink. He asked for a glass of whiskey. When he was about to drink the whuskey he heard God ask him to offer that glass of whiskey and not drink it. He told God he was already sacrificing so much by being in that desperate situation. God said but that wasn’t his choice, but those were the circumstances he was in. He really wanted that whiskey sooo bad! But after hearing God ask for it as a sacrifice, and after doubting it and discerning about it he did offer up the whiskey and didn’t drink it. Through his ordeal, God delivered him and brought him to safety. When ge offered up the whiskey he started to pray more and even teied evangekizing his captors. On a few ocassions his captors sat and listened to him speak of God. He prayed for them as well, he prayed for their conversion. So even though he felt he didn’t have to sacrifice anything since ge was already in a horrible situation, God helped gim see that he could sacrifice that which was in his hands and not that which was out of his gands. He did. God rescued him.
@mick1gallagher, fasting is a voluntary offering a person is making for the spiritual conversion and benefit of others. Starving people have no choice. Think of this for a minute as a real example. Jesus willingly offered His life as a sacrifice for us. He could have chose not to do so.
The pope recently approved the first seven apparitions as well as approved all pilgrimage is going…. So please have faith and believe and if not, that’s your choice but there is no doubt that over 50 million people going to this peaceful place where everyone is praying has many graces and fruits to offer…… hopefully you keep an open heart, especially now that the pope approves of this place. If the world was like this place, there would be no wars or crime think of it that way!! that’s a miracle in itself.
