It just breeeaaaks my heart when pups are separated from their mom and siblings. I wonder how the mom feels and if she forgets.
I had a hard time with this especially the day or 2 before we picked her up. I felt so bad like I was stealing Nala from her mom.
We should only adopt them together as a family or if possible only adopt the orphans!

I'm so excited. My grandparents are getting their eighth golden retriever April 2nd. They've had Golden retrievers their whole life. They're seventh one just past recently. I'm so excited. They're naming her Journey

This makes me so happy that I’m getting a puppy
A good thing to do when getting a new pup is take a few old T-shirt’s (smaller blankets or even smaller towels) and get the moms scent on them. We did this with our 8 week old chocolate lab and the first night she was exhausted and slept, the second night was rough but the third night and 2.5 years later no issues. But she did really cuddle into those T-shirt’s with her moms scent. Luckily she’s never had a crate accident so we didn’t have to wash them but we removed them because she was adapting fine. The other thing are those heartbeat plushy pups. I got a few in solid dark brown. To this day she takes care of her pups. She cleans them. She carries them by their nape of their necks and she gets them settled in with her blanket and her every night. 🥰
I know how we all felt how it was bringing our puppy home for the first time..Just like that!❤

We brought our 3rd golden friend home 4 years ago. Each one has been totally unique ........in a good way. They work their way into your heart so quickly. They all shed like mad, but we gladly put up with the hair . I can't imagine my life without a golden .

Yep, we can buy a lot of toys for them and they end up playing with something in the yard LOL My fur baby had a lot of toys and ended up loving to play more outside with a empty Milk jug LOL

Sweet video! I remember the day I got my sweet Golden Boy, Brycone (Bryson). I loved on him just like Roxy was on Nala. It's been about 14 years now since our 'got-ya day', and he passed away this year on January 7th, my mom's birthday. I paid what I thought was a fortune then ($600.00) and they are 5-6 times that price now...but oh, how I'd love to have another Golden Boy again to love on. I just don't have that kind of money on SS income. So, watching your Nala videos helps. I also follow a couple other Goldens. It doesn't give me the body touch aspect, but it warms my heart to at least see similar loving, antics, traits, and joy. Thank you for making these. I am grateful! Blessings.
