I like the use of margarine to prevent hardness of coated nuts. But what is the reason for adding corn flour?

The corn flour helps to add a nice crispy texture to it. And it doesn't make it too hard. Thanks

For the measurements:
- 6 cups of raw groundnut or peanut
- 2 tbsp of salt
- warm water
For our Dry Ingredient:
- 7 cups of All purpose flour (or more till your peanut is coated the way you want it)
- 1 sachet of milk powder flavor (100g)
- ½ tbsp of salt
- 3 tbsp of corn flour
- Oil for frying
For the wet/liquid ingredient;
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of warm water
- 3 tbsp of margarine (melted)
- 1 ½ tbsp of coconut flavor
