Atrocity is one of the most underrated bands. They're simply outstanding in everything they produce.

It's true, but lets admit that they have recorded only one great album for more than 20 years, it was Occult 1, other albums I rate from mediocrity to total garbage.

@@elviradark6902 I found the first trilogy of their existence (Hallucinations - Todessehnsucht - Blut) to be great albums which truly stood the test of time, everything else past that era is mostly crap in my opinion hence I lost interest in "em a long time ago. R.I.P Atrocity 1990-1994!
U must have missed their awful gothic Rammstein rip off phaze.

Sometimes retro synthesizer rock,
Sometimes melodic rock...
It is not understood that a band with an ambiguous identity mimics death metal or metal
just because biography is old-school.
Other old school death metal bands(like Immolation, Incantation...) that have gone through the same "difficult periods"
have continued to maintain their identities and are the foundation of death metal's existence.

I'm noy really digging this new death/thrash phase. They used to be very creative and original, specially in the 90's and 00's, always releasing innovative stuff like Blut and Atlantis. This sounds more generic and formulaic.
