I'll forever admire Sherlock's character development, he went from being a great man to being a great and good one.

When the whole drama was over and Sherlock said something about taking care of Mycroft because he's not as strong as he likes to think, and along the same lines ig he said "Thank you Greg" and that was the first time he remembered his first name and everyone was shook, so when some random fellow said that Sherlock Holmes is a great man, Greg said that yes, but I think he's a good one now. And that was a reference to what Greg himself said in the first season in i think A Study In Pink where someone else said that Sherlock Holmes is a great man and Greg replied by saying that yes, and maybe one day he'll be a good one. So that's the connection.
Sherlock speaks really bad about himself, but we know who he is , he is sweet, caring and very great human being.
And he is a good one too.
Yk how he claims to be a high function sociopath.. I don't have any evidence for this but sherlock really doesn't seem the type to go to a psychologist and get a diagnosis... just saying

No no this is a strategy, speaking badly about ourselves and good about others in a very particular way that produces a pity feeling in the audience's mind and does more effect than speaking good about ourselves. Antony's speech in the Julius Ceaser play was very much like this.

I cry so much at the parallel when Sherlock says John is the kindest and wisest human being he ever met when John was the first to say that at his grave 😢
The lighting in this scene screams "LETS ACCENTUATE EVERY BEAUTIFUL FEATURE ON THIS MAN'S FACE"
Also, the number of times he's actually said "sorry" for the two year hiatus, and you can see how much he has meant it every single time - he truly realizes how much he's hurt John and that saddens him so much it's all over his face I mean WHO IN THE WORLD THINKS OF THIS KIDDO AS A SOCIOPATH?

I always cry during this scene. It’s so powerful and thanks to your edit it hits even more. He wants to be a cold calculating machine and thinks feelings are a weakness. A chemical defect. But there he shows how much he cares for John and Mary. I love this man and your edit! Well done!

Sherlock is one of my favourite series, and maybe the only one that i sometimes rewatch. This scene in particular is very emotional, everytime. So thanks, beacause your video gave me the same emotions.

This is was the most heartwarming and emotional moment in whole of the Sherlock series. It shows the great friendship between the two mates and how much they care for each other and had utmost importance in each other's life.
If your intention was to make us teary eyed... well you have done it with much success.

Honestly....like this show. Which was introduced to me by my mother. At first I had no interest in. But she loved. So I gave it a chance. And I fell in love with this show and it's characters. Could I ever write sum like this? No😂 this takes big brain energy I don't have. But God did I enjoy it till the end

I love Sherlock. You can see how much Sherlocks character changes duing the seasons. You can see that he starts to care for the people that are near to him and after a while, you can tell, that Watson is not just another human for him..... for him its his best friend.
He always cared just never admits or realize it.
I love how every negative thing he says about himself, the visuals shift to him being exactly the opposite. He thinks he's bad but actually he's a great human being.
this hasn't been appreciated enough. This a great video, expressed in a melancholic and romantic way, this is just a really amazing show

he is the kindest, sweetest, most beautiful man out there who has the worst things possible said about him by those who are jealous. His supposed friends. John gets way too much credit. Specially in the lying detective where John literally blamed Sherlock for something that was in no way his fault despite seeing how much Sherlock already blamed himself. The way he treated him and the way he used Sherlock as a punching bag and later never even apologized made me realize how much better Sherlock is as a friend. Honestly, he even kill Magnesen to protect John’s and Mary’s happiness risking his own future and life despite Mary almost killing him.
You've left me speechless after watching this video. So incredibly beautiful, touching and emotional.

This is true for the entire show. Sherlock (and others) keeps calling himself a sociopath while literally being the kindest character in the show!

i think when sherlock said that, he knew things would be different from know on and it wouldn't be just him and john against the world. he knew john had someone new, and while he was okay with that, he knew he'd miss having john all to himself.
