in November 2009, police were called to home in an undisclosed location after foul odors were reported. Upon arrival, they were greeted with stenches that smelled like a dead body and discovered a basement room that had chains and shackles and was riddled with blood, urine, and feces, but no one was in the home. A video camera was found along with several tapes stored in a hidden cabinet in the basement room. The tapes hint that someone may have been living captivity and was possibly murdered, although the latter has never been proven. It is unknown who last lived at the home and residents reported seeing a black car leave the home about a year ago and never returned, but no one could identify what the car was or the occupants that entered and drove it.
