Scru great reaction as always my guy. I recommend “Psycho” or “In The Fire” by Dave. The bars go heavy, you and Munfu will definitely talk more about it.
You gotta do DAVE BL@CKBOX, he is 16 in it and it shows he was a prodigy since the start. My 19th Birthday, Hangman, Two Birds No Stones Honestly anything Dave is worth a listen.
Dave - Streatham, Hangman, Drama, My 19th Birthday, Environment! Also here are some UK artists to check out! Central Cee (Conscience Drill), Knucks, Kano and Loyle Carner (Hip Hop) King Kashmere ( Old School Hip Hop)
Id reccomend 'in the fire' by dave, its from his most recent album and there are a few other uk artists on it aswell, could get you introduced to some of them
Knucks kinda similar to Dave, he got bars (not as intensely lyrical as Dave but hes up there in uk rap) plus his production style makes his songs have a certain flavour too
If you're looking to explore more UK artists like you suggested, then Dave's 'in the fire' is a great song to react to. It has hidden features from 4 elite artists who all give good to goat verses on a beautiful beat. Ghetts specifically (3rd verse I think) is a favourite of mine, maybe with a bit of a heavy accent idk
You should definitely do "Lesley". One of my favourite Dave tracks and one of my favourite storytelling tracks. Also you should definitely listen to knucks, "home" is a great track
Love these reactions! I’d also recommend “In the Fire” live at the brits and “Samantha” with J Hus. Some other great artists to check out would be Meekz, Ghetts, Kano (his fire in the booth is insane), slowthai, Giggs, Lady Leshurr and P Money
There’s a song called Payback by Kojey Radical (ft. Knucks) Kojey is Ghanaian so there’s a lot of African influence that he puts in his music, think you’d love it!
A few other UK artists you should listen to: Ghetts Potter Payper Wretch 32 Chip Youngs Teflon Casisdead Avelino Akala Kano Mover (Just a few more lyrical rappers off the top of my head, I’d defo listen to a few Ghetts songs he’s an elite artist)
@@chillspot331 both elite artists but idk if they the typa artists that Scru will like. I just named artists that r more likely to use punchlines and I just named a few there’s sooo many more
@@nicomus1c Potter is the king of the real. If any one has come from struggle or has had to live an illegal life on their road to where they are now. They will relate to Potter, that’s why he’s so damn good. Different style to Dave for sure but also so slick with the wordplay and punchlines. I always recommend Dave and Potter as the two best from UK
potter payper is another artist like dave which can paint a picture with their music. i recommend listening to purple rain - potter payper, it’s an old song of his and it’s one of his best
Dave grew up in South London with another artist from the Norbury Area between Stretham and Croydon with Stormzy. Stormzy is probably the number 1 Rapper uk and is the first Black Rapper ever to billed the main artist at Glastonbury. that shit is huge. Stormzy and Dave do a track together called Clash. but I highly recommend Vossi Bop from Stormzy. Dave also stars in a Netflix Hit called Top Boy summer house season 1
You need to listen to Chip! He's done disstracks against Stormzy and has a song called 'Clash?' Which is a response to the song Clash-Dave ft Stormzy. Chip is also the UK artist known for not running out of bars
I really recommend just listening to all the songs on the “We’re all alone in this together” album, especially In The Fire, We’re All Alone, and Both Sides of a Smile. Phenomenal album. For other UK artists I’d suggest Arrdee(all his songs are fire but his Daily Duppy is sick), M24(he had a collab with Pop Smoke that was good), Bugzy Malone, Tion Wayne, Dutchavelli, Offica(Blue Bird specifically), SR, French the Kid(his daily duppy), and Russ Millions
In terms of other UK artists Id say Stormzy, Fredo, Wretch32 & Avelino or Akala. UK drill is definitely worthwhile too, from older artists like Harlem Spartans, Abra Cadabra or Dutchavelli to now more mainstream artists like headie one or Digga D.
Listen to some Avileno, very underrated UK artist, absolute lyricist & got crazy punch lines, I’d recommend his Dailey Duppy’s, Late Nights in the 15, welcome to the future & his fire in the booth with Wretch 32
If you’re looking for UK artists to react to I would definitely recommend you look into Rapman, especially the Shiro’s Story trilogy. Not as bar heavy as Dave but he tells more of a story, it’s like a short film! Following that I would recommend Cadet as well for that UK storyteller rap, two of the best to do it. Keep up the reactions!
You reacted to Clash by Dave ft Stormzy and I think Stormzy threw shots at another UK Rapper named Chip and he responded like a day after. Chips song is called Clash? and because its Dave's song Chip also went after Dave. IDK how deep their beef goes but pretty interesting to look into.
If you’re looking for another artist similar to dave and his wordplay i suggest Wretch 32. Also Ghetts however his “accent” may be to strong for you to understand everything
dave is cold, i would say check out kano. imo one of the greatest mc's the uk has ever produced (if not the world) good songs to react from kano: trouble, class of deja, tshirt weather in the manor, a roadmanns hymn, free years later etc..

These barely scratch the surface, but they're a good start.
General Zod was "anti" hero aka against heroes. Not anti-hero like Deadpool or Venom. Wordplay! Slight misstep Scru lol.
Only gripe I had, would’ve been perfect if he said Jason Todd
@@harreh2843wouldn’t have rhymed as good tho tbf
Scru great reaction as always my guy. I recommend “Psycho” or “In The Fire” by Dave. The bars go heavy, you and Munfu will definitely talk more about it.
Psychooooo !!
Absolute must reactions ☝️
I feel like Srcu would love Fredo. Fredo Daily Duppy plz
In the Fire is a top 5 track from the UK
Yeah In The Fire espiecally is more so just bar spitting, that and Disaster so theyre more light hearted. But Psycho is a must listen at some point.
You gotta do DAVE BL@CKBOX, he is 16 in it and it shows he was a prodigy since the start.
My 19th Birthday, Hangman, Two Birds No Stones
Honestly anything Dave is worth a listen.
blackbox is an absolute must!!!
a must!!!!!!!
Saved me advising the same. Still can't believe he's 16 in it.
Facts
ABSOLUTELY FIRE. Not just the bars, but how intense he delivers it, particularly for a 16 year old.
Add my 19th birthday on that list!!!
Streatham for sure
@@joriswesterhoven349 Game Over Ep is crazy 🔥
MY 19 birthday
Picture me one of his best songs literally gives me goose bumps every time
And the fact that he dropped that when he was 17, and possibly even wrote it at 16, just makes it all the more goosebump worthy
"Avelino- Cassius Clay Ft. Dave" would be a perfect segway into more of the scene.
For sure
Yep
Id reccomend 'in the fire' by dave, its from his most recent album and there are a few other uk artists on it aswell, could get you introduced to some of them
Very good shout
sickk shout g
Knucks kinda similar to Dave, he got bars (not as intensely lyrical as Dave but hes up there in uk rap) plus his production style makes his songs have a certain flavour too
Mic Reckless fire in the booth part 4!
Trust me Scru, also an amazing artist/rapper from the UK

I think out of those guys on that tune Meekz easily has the toughest accent for a UK rap philistine to be able to clock lol
Lol fr
You should definitely do "Lesley". One of my favourite Dave tracks and one of my favourite storytelling tracks. Also you should definitely listen to knucks, "home" is a great track
As a Jamaican, your Jamaican accent had me rolling 😂😂😂
Avelino & wretch 32 fire in the booth freestyle it's fire scru trust me 🙏🏻🔥
A reaction to Ghetts, Chip, Skepta or Bugzy Malone would be fire! All of them are heavy spitters.
Slowthai too, man is up there
Ngl it depends what track from Ghetts he reacts to. Cause some of them are a little hard to understand for a first time listener.
found you through dave and i’m so thankful, seeing him live this year. 100% recommend some stormzy - crown, vossi bop, big for your boots
Dave - Two Birds No Stone - is a must !!

There’s a song called Payback by Kojey Radical (ft. Knucks)
Kojey is Ghanaian so there’s a lot of African influence that he puts in his music, think you’d love it!
General Zod was technically a hero in his faction even if others were to view him as a villain.

Wretch 32
Chip
Youngs Teflon
Casisdead
Avelino
Akala
Kano
