We should do even more that warning labels. Don't give your child a "smart" phone until 16 or 18! "Social" media are not social, don't fall into the trap of inverse narrative. Smart phones are making people dump. Social media make people anty-social. If it was otherwise, people would not stare into their phones but talk to each other.

My opinion...Why the heck does a kid under 18 need a smart phone? He/she can have a flip phone that calls only me and 911. Computer access is only for school and other parent-approved use. Get a job when eligible and you can buy your own smart phone.
