    I have always found it very sad that the Australian Cricket Board could not see them selves and make him Australian captain towards the end of his career. such a fantastic cricket brain.

      This is what transformed Warne from a freak into probably the greatest bowler of all time. Not only did he have prodigious spin, freakish control and great variation, he also had a sixth sense of finding and exploiting weaknesses.

    Great video, thank you Jack. I couldn’t bear to watch when he was inevitably busy decimating our team. Now I can’t get enough of watching highlight reels of him. Football has Messi, golf has Tiger, basketball has Michael, swimming has Phelps, athletics has Bolt, boxing has Ali, rugby has Lomu, cricket - goes without saying… “bowled Shane!”

    Both warne and murali used to put so many revs on the ball resulting in insane drift and spin.
    True magician. And i feel so lucky that i've seen both legends throughout their career (except their few years).

    When I used to play cricket in my college days, i copied his bowling action to bowl leg spin. His bowling action is very flamboyant. Whenever I see him, love him. RIP WONNIE!!!

    Shane Warne and Wasim Akram had the ability to turn a match on its head in a space of 2-3 overs. They have the skill, talent, ability to do so on numerous occasions. Natural talent who can win a hopeless match for their teams completely on their own.

    Many Indian batsmen played well against him...especially during 1998 series they did not hand him too many wickets and won the series...Sachin,Sidhu,Kambli and Sehwag played well against him...

    Crazy good attacking cricket brain to have standing next to any captain at 2nd slip. Solid lower order bat and truly great slips field. Always one of the first 2 or 3 picked in any all time world XI.
    PLUS...he put bums on seats at the ground and in front of the tv. He was a walking headline when the Aussies were in town.

      I'm not underrating spin as I am also a leg spinner but I do believe that any delivery can be the best delivery, even fast bowling and medium pace bowling too.
      It's just the matter of proper usage.🙂
