Craig, I already took the course, passed the written and range exams, took my fingerprints, uploaded to the DPS page and filled out the application, I don't have a criminal record, I know it says on the DPS web page that it takes up to 60 days to get the license, but I've been told that it takes less time, in average, how much time does it really take to get your CHL?
My documents were received March 3rd. When I go to check the status it still doesn’t show the check list. It is March 18. Is that something I should be worried about or is that normal?

Mine runs out in a couple years. I need to research how to renew it.

Can you start an ltc class online or in person before you are 21? I am about to turn 21 in march and I can’t wait.
Pretty sure you can. Ill let a student come take a class before they are 21 and submit paperwork on their birthday
not sure where you're at in your process but as of ~2 months ago 18,19, and 20 year olds can now apply for an ltc
I guess it's better than waiting to turn 21 so you can go to a bar and get hammered I hope you are responsible and successful 🎉

we are seeing about 3-4 weeks turnaround right now

yes. Texas changed to License to Carry from Concealed carry in 2016

Did you upload your LTC 100? If so, you should be fine

yes. dont try to hide anything. They will find out
