In my opinion the BEST LOOKING 'Vette ever. I'm a lil prejudice because I had an exact model brand new. Many still believed the hatch didn't open. It was NOT as fast as my L-82 4spd, gymkhana suspension Silver anniversary (78) but, I figured it was a GT. The tranny hunted, the X fire was a pain keeping properly tune, aside from that the wave I'd get from other vette drivers made it worthwhile. It spent an uncomfortable period @ dealership. But,it never left me stranded. 🇺🇸
Very nice condition. I owned a new 78 and very disappointed with the plastic faux dash and Center console compare to my die cast interior pieces on my 72.
Still one of my favorite all time Corvettes, if not the most favorite! I stopped watching after the vid completely malfunctioned just before the half way mark. Get your act together people! (green tint)
Some how, I don't see the mirror tint on the T-TOPS. I GOT 1 back in 1982. I considered it a G.T. compared to my 1978. It had the L82,4sp, gymkhana suspended, etc. Major differences in price & Performance. But, I,LOVE CORVETTES. I,own a GRAND SPORT with a 7speed,glass tops,etc... great video, brought back memories, THANKS &GREAT LUCK WITH IT.
All 1982 Corvette Collector Editions came with "Silver Beige" interiors, as shown in the video. The carpet and interior in this Corvette are original. Oyster was not an available interior color for the 1982 model year.
This is a beautiful car but at 200 hp and 1/4 mile times of 16 sec at 86 miles an hour its way off my list.To put it in perspective my 2014 Escalade runs a 14.8 at 96 mph.
Well that’s a way newer car and it has way newer technology. I get your point, but if you put an ls3 and a turbocharger in this beast, it’ll have way better numbers
Much better Sound then e.g. Ferrari F430's, some new Porsche Carreras I've heard passing by, some horrible some kind of smashing pots sound. Perhaps not technically better but when one can not stand something can not stand something.
This 1982 Collector Edition has been sold, but we currently have two other Collector Editions for sale on our website: www.sevenhillsmotorcars.com/inventory.htm
I have one. It has only 24,700 miles on it too. It was in a show room for 21 years and is now in my possession. I would trade it for the right C3 Convertible. Why? Mine is so MINT, I'm actually afraid to drive it around....too many IDIOTS out there driving around. A "restored" Corvette Convert is fine with me. I'm in western Oregon, near Salem.

I love my ‘82 C3 (not collectors). It’s got 14k miles and runs like a dream. Definitely turns heads.
Beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful.
Pure art on 4 wheels!!
I have an 82, not a collectors edition, but still. It has 59k miles.
Only Vette to have the hatch back access to the storage area. I love it the most of all C3's
Last yr C3 vette collection Edition$22,000 back in 82 loaded with everything all options
Beautiful
Ain't it cool how all vette's have them wide hip views from the seat. Love my C5!
C5 & C3 are my favourite generation as well.
This car is So smooth and beautiful. 1st. Fule injection since 1967(last) year. Love the special edition C3.
Corvette C3 rubber bumper boat tail with front and rear spoiler is the best looking sportcar ever made by far.
A timeless masterpiece of car design

......………WOW...……….I'M SO GLAD YOU DID THIS …...……..THANKS
Stunning!

That look puts the C8 to shame.
My dream car.
The one feature that was the first ever for vettes was the rear opening hatch window and theg never show it. ?

Yea, that was just you lol.
It worked fine for me.....it must be your connection.

What's the price on this beautiful corvette
The carpet has been replaced with the wrong color. It should be oyster, not tan.

Is this car there?
Beatifull car! So sad she was born with, under 200 Horse
She has exactly 200 hp
This ones a keeper though. You can always swap out the engine for an LS1 etc
@@marc_simmons keep it original
@@marc_simmons
I wouldn't change a thing.
If you want speed, buy a ZR1 and don't rewrite history.
@@marc_simmons Exactly.....nobody knocks '55 Chevy's because of the 265 engine, because you always drop in a BB!!
