I work as a truckdriver on a carhauler here in the Netherlands. Last week i had to pick up 4 cars at the department of treasury that were impounded. one of them was exact same model as this 1982 corvette and in excellent shape. The previous owner must have had taken very good care of the car. I imediatly fell in love with it and am very much interested in buying it. It goes up for auction in 2 weeks from now, and i might gp for it if it is not too expensive. The other 3 cars i had to pick up were a C6 corvette, a Dodge Ram SRT-10 and a Ferrari 360 spider.
My dad ended up winning a 1982 corvette vendetta with twin turbo. The whole thing was custom build. He ended up selling it in 2020 because he was in serious medical debt. It was sad to see it go
I had the third one ever built. This one is stripped down compared to mine. I had in dash am/fm/cassette/ cb radio and brackets on the back to hold the tops. Every option available except the gymkana suspension
tony you dropped the ball on the test drive. all i heard was wind noise and then at the end of the video the camera showed a bunch of scratches on the paint
Nice car but missing rear spoiler stripe, license plate surround stripe snd rear light pockets were painted dark brown. Rear bumper been repainted and whoever painted it forgot those items.
Thanks for posting, ... this is THE most beautiful Corvette ever produced, (IMHO) But shouldn't the rear spoiler above the tail lights have a pin stripe there ? I hope to own one of these soon, But I need to figure out where to garage it LOL.
Nice car but the collectors editions arent worth shit. You can get them for like $12k. People who bought them probably thought they were sitting on a gold mine
I have one. It has only 24,700 miles on it too. It was in a show room for 21 years and is now in my possession. I would trade it for the right C3 Convertible. Why? Mine is so MINT, I'm actually afraid to drive it around....too many IDIOTS out there driving around. A "restored" Corvette Convert is fine with me. I'm in western Oregon, near Salem.
I had one and sold it because l got a big offer for it. BIG REGRET. Utter stupidity, now l want another one so l can drive it until l die and be buried in it, expensive coffin ⚰ but think about the style.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called "Abgasbespaßungsverbots- und Kontrollverordnung" in German. :-(((((((
I’m in love with this car. Parents say no. I say yes! Dream car at first sights.
The C3(no matter the year) is and always will be the Greatest looking American car ever! Nice to see a new Tony Vette video!
Max, you have EXELENT taste.
My dad bought this new. I remember going to pick it up. He totaled it back in mid-1990s so there is for sure one less of these cars on the road.
Didn't knew the back window can pop out that way for the collector edition Vette 👍
The last of the beautiful C3! I remember when this one came out. I still love it and agree that the C3 is my fav! I have a C6 atm.
The car is lovely ❤

The wheels were coolest part copy of c2 but wider, strange that early c3 dropped alloy wheels altogether for a while.
Sweet corvette
I'm lucky enough to own one of these, wouldn't trade or sell it for anything...she's a diamond in the ruff.
Smart move, keep it and be buried in it.
One less makes mine more valuable.
