The Hermes website has had some really great pieces recently, I managed to nab this stunning Herbag Zip 39cm in black with gold hardware, I wear my 31cm size one so often I love it so thought let's get the bigger size too. I also picked up this cute little Rodeo Pegase PM Pegasus charm in Etoupe, Biscuit & Vert Fizz it's so cute absolutely love these things but they are so addictive.

But why get all the bags in black and gold esp. if you already have a birkin?

I just like black and gold bags because I find they work well with most things in my wardrobe & the Herbag is different than the Birkin it is lighter for one thing it's also more casual and low key and it also has a shoulder strap. As I said in the video you can easily change up the bag to match your outfit by adding the Pegase or Rodeo charms, they come in tons of colours and are less of an over all statement than a fully coloured bag. I know there are some other neutrals but black is great because it also doesn't mark, I learnt many years ago that I am not a fan of bags with lighter coloured handles like the Louis Vuitton vachetta or any other brown or lighter coloured handle as they can darken and start looking dirty more quickly. I personally am not a fan of using twillies either to protect the handles as they unravel and also make the bags look more feminine. So I stick with black bags mostly and gold hardware is just my preference over silver, I find silver a bit boring. I would usually always pick gold over silver if that is an option and at Hermes specifically I have made it a rule to myself that everything I buy must have gold hardware to match my bags or no hardware at all.
