Not only the L-shaped plastic rib structure acts as a separator between the hot and cold sides, but to also act as mounting structure to lock the PCB board rigidly in place and to strengthen the plastic enclosure - a simple but clever design.
Hi, very nice and well explained analysis. Can I ask you whether it has a good overcharge protection? I wanted to buy a few of them to charge my devices during night
@@FrancescoFWhat do you mean by this? The power supply should make sure it does not output more than 5V. So if it is over 5V it should shutdown its output, no?
@@ricsip charge, voltage and current are different things. The supply controls the voltage and keeps it constant and has a limit on how much current it can deliver, but it’s up to the device to use the current that it needs and manage how fast/slow charge the battery
They’re almost all the same. At 5W every modern charger will behave the same. If you’re in a hot environment you can also pick up one rated at a higher current so it will be less stressed at 1A
@@FrancescoF Nah! Higher current will also lead to overheat phone as the battery need to consume a lot of power in a short time. Currently using 5w=1A british standard triangle charger it kinda hot but at least my phone stay cool. I guess everything comes with price

I actually got the ikea dual usb c PD adapter for my iPad Pro 4th gen and iPhone 15 pro max(using MagSafe) and a clip on magnet usb charger as well
I made a video on those too, they came out later

That would be handled by the device itself, this (like all others) is just a power supply
@@FrancescoF Thank you! Bought a bunch of these chargers. They seem to be very well built!

Hi from Malaysia! What is 5v=1A charger that has lowest heat have u tested?

@@nuruddinasyraf6320 That's because your phone decides to use more current. if you present the charger as being less powerful, it will draw less.
@@FrancescoF Thanks for the information bro
Are their LED lamps still made by Megaman?
Not sure, haven’t taken apart the new LEDs
Hi this or the apple one? Thanks!
This is far cheaper and does exactly the same thing
@@FrancescoF hey thank you very much for your response! I will also watch the other videos of yours! Subscribed
