Another great teaching Chad! I would argue that Communion is one of the best things to "receive" and receive often as it causes you put your focus where it needs to be. In the Jewish mindset, remembrance in these verses means more along the lines of a reenactment of the event. It's a great opportunity to use your imagination and see, like the bronze serpent, Jesus being smitten with your sicknesses and diseases. See Him taking the stripes. See His life flowing in you and through you. I mean good grief, the children of Israel ate normal lamb and all of them came out of Egypt healed and whole with none feeble. Think about that. It's one of the few natural things that Jesus pointed to and told us to do and to do often...with faith. But like every other discipline it can easily become a work or a ritual. That's why I look at it as something I'm receiving, not doing.

@@ChadGonzalesMinistries Well I came to faith later in my life and chose to accept fully that my health was part of my salvation right from the beginning. So I've literally been learning how to walk in my healing from square one on day one.

I am riddled with serious diseases and illnesses, two of them incurable (humanly speaking), and now have covid for the second time on top of it all, and have been battling for weeks to get healed, and asked God this morning what I am doing wrong, why am I not getting healed ... and then I listened to this message. This must be His answer.
So sorry you have dealt with all of that. We are praying for you.

A!so 1 Corinthians 1:30 (Jesus IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS) ? I'm watching you from the island of Cyprus,in East Mediterranean Sea.... Heb12:2 look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. 2cori 4: As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen( bronze serpent on the pole lifted up)! Matt6:22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,( our eyes and then our whole body is lit as we see the finished work on the cross)
