Really really loved the music / song as you came off the boat, but have no idea who they or it was. Great vlog as per normal, I am one of those subs that enjoy the ladder cam more than the screen view and I prefer vids to being 1+ hour long as well. PS The narrow roads and exists on roundabouts are to stop street racers, i read up on a few years ago. Also makes it easier for police to block escapees.
One more great vlog mate with the scania I see on Facebook you have a iveco 570 be great to see your thoughts on it after the scania and your cab tour as I will be getting one but on gas powered in August after having Volvo then now a daf xl530 with all bells and whistles

Talking about roads. I'm a member of the Caravan Forum website, and they have gone on for a few years now about the state of the roads in Scotland, especially if you're doing the N500 route. Absolutely terrible. Although saying that, the roads south of the border aren't much better. Talking about the 90 day rule, I did, funnily enough, looked it up last night about visa rules since Brexit. Now you need to watch each hour you're over there, and with the farmers strike, it doesn't help matters. Probably said in the past. But I have to laugh whilst listening to your satnav, saying "Go left round the roundabout...". Should be right. It was the same when me and my hubby were driving in France, and last time we went was back in 2015🤣. As you were heading towards Normandy, you said you could see a viaduct. Was that the Ponte de Normandie? It is one of the most awesome bridges I've crossed. At the time it was built, it was the highest bridge in the world. Probably around 15th highest now. When roads narrow when entering a town, I think its to do with traffic flow, just make everything go slower. Don't forget Martyn, longer daylight hours, but lots of tourists coming across on the ferries🤣. As you drive along the roads Martyn, I remembered, many moons ago, that all French cars had yellow headlights, and when visiting the country, we had to put the suction orange plastic cups to stick on your own headlights

The reason they make the junctions awkward is to slow you down. We do the same in the UK by installing road signs/bushes in your line of sight on approach of roundabouts etc. Damn annoying, but effective. Agh! LOL!

Kept running but plugged in to the electric as can't have the diesel engine running on the crossing
