I used to live two minutes from the factory where the 748 was built and I would hear those engines almost every day. I came here looking forward to hearing that sound again. But, what did I get, stupid music. I never ever understand why so many great pieces of film like this have the natural soundtrack wiped out. It's nice to SEE planes like this but we want to HEAR them also, especially those glorious RR Darts. Gave up watching after five minutes.
If you want to listen to those engines there are many great videos on youtube ! I have one here ruclips.net/video/-0oOCh2swmU/видео.html from around 2009. If you'd watch until the end you'd have seen the end of a -30 c day with the idle sound and oil smoke. There are also a couple fly by in the video with original soind. The point of this video was not to show indivudual videos of this plane but to show a mix of wat a working day look like on theese machines back in the days I used to fly it . I love those engines but there are many other videos if you just want to hear them :P
Sorry. Your video is not to my taste. First the positives. Never seen a HS-748 cargo before - so that is interesting - and so is the area. But from the intro where I guess you edited it to hark back to days when movies were grainy and contract not so good. But all that was fixed before the 748 first flew - so I really don't get that. The music is over-bearing, and in fact I much prefer no music at all - the RR Dart engines provide that for the aviation enthusiast. I did not get to see the loading of the plane. There was a lot of images (like snapshots which did not give me a complete set or time to work through them. Very disappointing.
The whole thing was recorded with a camera that was already old in 2009 with a budget of 0$... I could have kept these images for me but since they are still quite unique i decided to share. Not close from perfect i agree but it still gives a good idea of how these machines were operated for many years !

I agree. Read my main comment for my feelings about it.
WHY would you be playing that horrible cheesy music over the sound of the engines ??
Hard video to watch to be honest.
What do you mean ?
