We are at war. We have been at war since years, and currently from all that I have read, we are lagging behind. Lets see what happens in the future. Its sad.
There's some flaw in democracy; that we could not stop such an event of kashmiri pandits exodus from Kashmir in an independent India. We need introspection, and rectify the loopholes. Jai Hind 🇮🇳
It is very important that India must have a very strong central government and a government in Jammu and Kashmir is not dominated by the 3 existing political families of Kashmir
Despite being small market,Bollywood movies rule over theatres in Nepal. In the midst of recently implanted "Secular" Hybrid Chaotic concept of Mandir Bhajan & Masjid Aazaan in the same Sthan Don't know why "RRR" being shown but not Kashmir Files🤔 🙏
Lt Gen Ata Hasnain, I saw your video streamed on Citti Utube. Excellent. You have immense experience in understanding Kashmir and it's people. As they say, you have your nose to the ground and have done an excellent job at contextualising the event in time and political space. However, while some warning signals have been brilliantly highlighted, the analysis is short on spelling out solutions, maybe for the need to remain politically correct. In my view, time is long past for brushing things under the carpet. We need to be forthright and candid if we want to bring closure to the issue and learn from it and you have the knowledge, experience and talent to put it across to the audiance who matter. Indeed you can actually lead the way. Your advise to the film maker is well taken, but you too are a well known public figure now. Imagine the positivity you can create by leading the way to influence prominent Muslim bodies, to publically render an unconditional apology on behalf of people of your faith. This can herald a good begining.
Through school/colleges/ madarsas, through. Mullahs/ masjids/maulvis and through administrators at all levels it should be made christal clear to all Kashmiris that they are Indians first, Kashmir is and will remain an inseparable part of India. Any one having other ideas will be made tu understand this a very hard way. Period.
Well and Accurately Analysed Ata. However even after a year or Two, when realisation set in, why did we not go all out to get the Pandits back. Waiting only made their wounds fester and leave permanent Scars. Does the Then Government have any reason or was it either complacency od lack of concern
Sir, what if evey Kashmiri Muslim was like you and saved Hindus in those times. Salute and wish you can do something to resettlement of those families back in their legitimate lands.
It is sad that the ruling party at that allowed it to happen . Jo jaissa karega waisse bharega . Now they deserve the pathetic state that they are in . Really congress needs to be thrown out of this country
Hangloo Saheb, you should contextualize. 32 years ago I was certainly not a General. Besides that you obviously did not even bother to view this. If you had, it would have been amply clear that on 19 Jan 1990 I was in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. I got to know only three months later. Do not carry your bias into every domain.
The views expressed are lucid and true to a great extent. However, LtGen Hasnain has very conveniently overlooked the weaknesses and complicity of the polity and the then government. Let's not cover up failures by giving the poor security handling an intellectual umbrella. A spade must be called a spade if you want to cleanse the system for a strong India for eternity. A professional must analyze the events professionally instead of lacing it with politics to give an intellectual colour to the events.
Very unfortunate comment from a former colleague. Does the pointer to the lack of understanding of the political community and the bureaucracy appear to point to some alien government. You don't need to be an intellectual to fathom that this is a reference to the govt of the day. The allegation that one is attempting to intellectualize to deceive is unfortunate
Lack of understanding remains till today Look at present day jaipur it looks like a slum Illegal Rohingya Bangladeshi. No solution in govt organization a salute to you Lt Gen.
Once Kashmir goes to Pakistan, they will try to get Punjab and then whole India. There's no halt. It's not just about Kashmir or Punjab but Jihad. Ofcourse they don't have might to do that but the enemies sitting within the country are feeding them.

A great Video by a Comrade - in - Arms . Weldon dear General.. Ata we are proud of you.
This was allowed to happen because at that time congress equation to power to loot was SC+ST+OBC+Muslims+Dalits.
Thank you General.

This video needs to be viral

Appears very authentic. His views at the end needs attention for sincere followup by all stakeholders. Thank you general.

Very well explained .The fabric of country should remain intact ,what has been destroyed needs to be mended and amended gradually and steadily

It is also a fact that KPs had no significant electoral value in the cast and community ridden politics of India?
