- Glaros Hotel is a fully refurbished hotel, situated at the picturesque fishing village of Agia Galini in southern Crete, just 300 meters from the sea, combining comfort and discreet luxury prevailing throughout.
It is decorated, relied on current trends of contemporary minimal design, while simple lines and luxurious materials such as leather, marble, wood, glass are combined perfectly with the experience and the same successful recipe for two generations, creating an elegant and cozy sojourn.
The radical renovation of the hotel allowed us to build 33 modern and luxurious rooms and a studio that can accommodate from 1 to 6 guests.
All rooms and studios have air conditioning, refrigerator, wireless, free internet, satellite LCD TV, luxurious, marble bathroom with hairdryer and private balconies or terraces. The apartments also feature fully equipped kitchen and living room.
Great village, great people, great hotel ... we thoroughly recommend it.
We liked this hotel from the first time we booked it in 2006. Every year we saw this hotel improving and modernizing. The rooms have every comfort you wish and they are very clean. Breakfast is rich of variety, never seen before. The owners as well as the servers are very friendly, discreet and always helpful. In hotel Glaros you find an open and familiar feeling.

We got married in aghia galini 23 years ago. We stayed at hotel Glaros then and have returned 3 times since. It's a clean tidy and comfortable place. Much more modern , since its refit . Though we loved the rustic Greek look when we got married too !
We've also stayed in a couple of other hotels and apartments over the years too.
You have to make your own way there now as the British tour companies don't do packages. It's easy enough to do. We are returning this June , 2017. Looking forward to some lovely Greek food , of which there is plenty in aghia galini and lovely company too.
