So so pretty. I was holding my breath when you were thinking out loud about whether or not to “re-smash” and I’m like...no no no it’s beautiful as it is. So glad you didn’t.
OK AnneMarie you got me thinking of an idea as I watched this video. One could paint a black or midnight or Prussian blue background as you did here. Then add the balloon squishes in various white, beige, grey, yellow combinations reminiscent of stars and planets. One could even follow up after it was all dry with some of the glow in the dark medium on top of all the light "stars and planets" so they would glow once the lights were out. Might really appeal to kids for their rooms. Just a thought.
I love this! You are so creative. I’ve seen this technique done several times but never like this and never with the lines, which by the way , was genius!!
I absolutely love this. I have been trying to work a balloon smash or dip into my own paintings. The only thing that I would suggest is something that you were almost going to do. I might carefully consider which of the circles would be on top of the lines. This would give more of a 3D quality to the whole piece. I do think I'm going to do something like this though. Thank you so much.
Love the pop art feel with the black canvas dotted with balloon squishes and the paint ribbons. Thought when you held it up vertically it really looked especially striking.
Thank you for sharing your amazing art and process. Absolutely love your colours even the pinks and purple which your not a fan of lol. Great idea with the balloon roll. Have a wonderful week.
So cool! Can't wait to try. I'm thinking of using a peacock blue with gold and bronze and trying your suggestion of putting down the lines before the balloon dabs. I love the way yours turned out. Show us your island home!
I love your work and your videos. This balloon smash is super cool. I couldn’t tell if you put a black base coat on it, though. Please do tell. Thanks.
The balloon rolls on the table with black plastic looked really good when the cells grew. I can imagine a whole canvas that way! How many silicone drops did you add to color?
That was beautiful. I really like the lines over top of the circles. Somehow, the circles seemed connected with the lines and I’m not sure if the effect would be the same with the lines underneath. Thank you, another protect I’d like to try.
This is so gorgeous! You have given me hope in creating abstract art. The paints I use are not the greatest (and expensive where I am), and I don't think I'm getting the proportions right for the medium to paint correct, but I'm working on it. (And there in might lie my problem and not so much the quality of the paint.) Thanks so much for the inspiration. Btw, what type of photo paper do you use? I got some yesterday, and it behaved like normal paper with the bubbling and folding up.
Very cool project!!! Very pretty! Also, I got to thinking 🤔 what made the little ones last week so special was the direct center burst of air in the middle. It even left a center circle ⭕️ I know you’re thinking of getting in the way of the shot but it’s really so quick. We can sacrifice for art! 🎨😉
Before the line was added it reminded me of Chinese lanterns in the sky. I bet it would have looked even cooler with tiny white flecks splattered on the canvas to emulate stars on the nice dark black "sky". With the lines it reminds me of strands of DNA. guess that's my cytology medical back ground coming out lol.
@@annemarieridderhof i just had a look at another site and they said to use glue to the mix, im going to give it a try as i like the paleness of the paints when mixed xxx
I love those bright colors on the black background!!! Beach Balls floating on Ocean Waves!!! Love it!!!!

Those last two times when you rolled the balloon across the plastic, after the silicone did what it did, it looked like falling leaves! kinda cool :-)

Would it work to let the ballon dry and use the paint as a skin?
It was really hard to peal off the balloon when I tried.
Wendi Erickson was it because it stuck to the balloon material or because the paint on the balloon was too thin?
I will try that today I have one with paint dried
♥♥♥ Thank you so much ♥♥♥
So great,, what kind of syringe did use and what kind of tip.? The technique is wonderful

What does the mixer consist of for balloon dip?
acrylic paint ? ♥♥♥
what happens when you let it dry on balloon?
Then you have a dry circle of paint...
