One topic I discuss in this video is how I can't comprehend how Vietnamese are so FRIENDLY! 99% of the interactions that I have with strangers here are positive, as you can see in this video. Hey, I live in Vung Tau and couldn't agree more that the Vietnamese are extremely caring, accepting, and super-friendly people. They look out for each other, and they look out for us foreigners. I've been here six years and plan on being here another two (visa gods permitting). I love Vietnam and know I will leave a piece of my heart here.

Thích cách Phúc giao tiếp và hòa nhập với con người, cuộc sống tại Việt Nam theo 1 cách rất bình dân. Mình cũng rất thích vì Phúc đã bỏ nhiều "công phu" làm phụ đề cả tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh. You are 100% right. Where I am at, Vietnamese people are always super friendly and very nice at work, shops, etc... With 20+ years in an area with lots of Vietnamese people and the Vietnamese people are just really great .

This is giving me serious flashbacks of when I was in Saigon, with the motorbikes flying through the little alleyways.... I spent almost 6 months but couldn't pick up the language. Respect for getting your language skills on and meeting the locals like that 👍

Hi Alex, I watched your video the other day with Ralph, and you mentioned that the people in Da Nang aren't that friendly compared to Saigon. Actually, I think it's because of the language barrier. If you speak a little Vietnamese and initiate the conversation, they would definitely be friendlier.
@@theman7563 ikr, Da Nang people is also friendly in my opinion, It cause they don’t know English that well and all the stuff in life that make them a little bit angry. Just try to speak a little of Vietnamese i bet they wil be nicer

I love this type of video where you're just walking around and interacting with locals. This always reminds me of the character Norm from the old TV show Cheers when you walk around and people yell out your name. It must feel good to be so loved and recognized.

I like this video. This format seems genuine and it’s like a tour. I love how you know everyone so well. When I was a kid in Saigon we had a comedy skit show called “Trong Nhà Ngoài Phố” and it was about what’s going in the neighborhood and in the family. It was great.

What's happening Phuc Map, I would like you to walk around in Tan Phu district. That's the area my wife's family live and where I stay. Because of this pandamic, I cannot visit not like before where I loved visiting every two years. Now I would like to see what's happening and and changes.
