You deserve more subscribers & views per video. I have been recommending your channel to all my friends in the past 2 days, having watched a couple of your videos. Once again, great insights.👍🏻
That's extremely kind thank you. I do put allot of time into making and editing my stuff but I don't do the whole "like and subscribe" speaches every 5 mins, so that could reflect in my numbers. As long as viewers are enjoying my content that's what makes me very happy. So it's very nice to have such kind feedback I really appreciate it.
Beam shots speak a thousand words -great job! I think I’m going to order the Nichia version over the the wizard or the zebra light h600c and keep my fingers crossed on the build quality.
Thanks. So far after more than 3 weeks I can say it's a typical lumintop in that it has a great build quality. Is it better than a armytek or zebra light? no. But at this price I certainly don't expect that. I hope you enjoy the light. The nichia will look beautiful. Let me know if you like it when you get one, I'm stays interested to hear that people think. Have a great day 😎🤝
What is the real world difference in light beam tint/color & CRI between the Luminous SST-20 (Neutral White 4000K 95+ CRI) & Nichia 219C? From what I could find, the Nichia is lower CRI. Does 1 of them get hotter faster (on same output)?
Good question. The sst 'should' provide a better 'throw'. So it should allow you to their light further. But yeah the nichia emitters have always been hot runners this is why they have lower lumens than the Crees fit example. Also rarely you can get a green tint on the 219 versions. But I dont have enough of them to test to back that up myself. I would grab the sst I think you will enjoy it. Also I have been told nichia 219b are a great tiny and look if you can get them.
@@TrailTrek yeah i do have a NitecoreTIP CRI witn Nichia 219b 3450*K Just for my birthday next month. Nicelypacked☺☺so fingers crossed👌👌✌✌have a nice Day good luxxxx🔦🔦🔦🔦
Good point. There are not many times you will use all of the battery unless you are using it on mega high all the time or for long periods of time. And if you do take spare batteries. Good points mate.
TrailTrek Thanks for tutorial on the UI, "so don't have to study for 6 months to use it." Hah!.. Question about memory on this (if it has it & how it works). Will the light remember the last setting when switched off & go back to it when turned back on (including exact light output and/or blink rate)? When you were on tactical strobe, you said that it can not be accessed fast. That sounds like it does not have a last setting memory function, or it just does not work for some settings? I would need a light that can be set to turn on directly to biker flash, tactical strobe (at rate and lumens I set it) or to a pre-set lumens on the constant beam. Thanks!
Excellent questions I can say on mine that it does have memory modes for the standard modes 'on and off' and it will remember your strobe setting flash rate or at least mine does. This is for party and tactical strobes. I always leave the strobe to tactical so it's brighter if I need it. I suppose on reflection the strobe is ok to get to with a click click hold. It just takes some getting used to. I'm happy my UI explanation helps, I get a lot of people saying thanks for covering that. It's very complex at first then it's very hard to go back to a normal simple UI on other lights 😉
Yeah I was shocked and kept it in. It took them weeks to send me a new one! But it took them over a month to send the light so postage seems to be an issue with armytek. I now prefer the metal clips on the lumonite stuff. I like to keep cuts to a minimum in my videos and keep it all one take and honest 👍😁
Thank you very much for the kind support. I have been trying for days to get the latest manual from lumintop for this light: mz1501.cn/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Lumintop-HL3A-Multilingual-User-Manual.pdf but the site is down. However i will make a sensible guess and say at around 5 lumen total output on something like a 3000 mah battery you should get 200 hours total runtime. I hope this helps.
You can use lights with flaps in rain etc. But when they claim things like ipx8 and it has a flap I am very dubious of that. Imagine putting a flap at the bottom of a bucket of water it's best hard to believe that this will be waterproof to the levels they sometimes suggest. Rain would be fine but heavy rain or dropped in water I'm not so sure.
Hi thanks for the sub. That blade is an HX outdoors knife, it is very similar to the Mora fire knife but unlike the Mora it lacks the scandi grind and uses a saber grind. Hope that helps and have a great day.
for versatility id go with the hc65 but then this can be clipped and stuck to thing where the hc65 cant. if i was just out for a hike this is great but the HC65 has the red light mode and thats better for night photography etc. i think it depends what you are going to use it for.
Good review. I've just bought this. I absolutely love the anduril interface (I bought the BLF lantern in December and more recently the sofirn SP36 & SC31pro). I do love my olights for the magnetic charging but I prefer a more neutral tint.
@@TrailTrek I have watched the sc31 pro review this morning . Where is the best website to buy spare batteries for this headlamp, most of my batteries are button top. I have typed the anduril instructions up in a spreadsheet. I use this in one my olight perun headbands, they can fit most of my right angle 18650 headlamps. I took this out with a perun and my armytek last night.
Hi there, because there is a nice spring top and bottom you can use button or a flat top. Do you live in the UK? If you do I would go and grab something like a Samsung 30q off fogstar.co.uk but wait until Friday as they always do a 20% off deal. So that will save you some money. You can buy cells from China for a little bit less but risk the real chance of getting fake cells which have terrible capacity. I've never had games it issues with fogstar.
Chester looks like a lovely place. Yeah I'm Geordie, and you are right the mackems are similar but pronounce certain words differently. They are to the south of the river Tyne. Where I would say cookee instead of cookie. They would say kewki. I find it funny when I get international comments on the channel saying I sound like Jason Statham! Bearing in mind he's cockney!
Enjoyed the review my friend. I still like using my Skillhunt H03, glad you recommended it!
Yeah I like it for being small, slim and light.
They are great cheap lights I have three 🤣
As usual lumintop make a very good light for the price.
Brilliant review mate. 👍🏻 Just discovered your channel. Subbed.
Thank you so much for this. I'm here to help so if you have any questions let me know. I hope you have a great day 😃

Nice! Enjoy it my friend. Have a very happy birthday. 👍👍👍👍👍
@@TrailTrek thanks XD😊😊
It’s probably easier just to carry extra pre-charged 18650s than fumbling with cables and powerbanks..and you retain the water resistance

Pretty effortless to break that head strap cradle on the Armytech. I lmao..props for keeping the clip..

“Muggle mode”... I love it!
It's quickly sums up the feature I think 👍😁
Good video! at a low power between 1 and 10 lumens, how many hours does it work? Thank you for your work!

Very nice and well detailed review as always.

Hello. Who do you prefer Sofirn SP40 or LUMINTOP HL3A?
I think for the money it has to be the sp40. The anodising wears thin faster but at that price its a steal.
Can this flashlight use a rechargeable 18650 with a micro USB build in on the battery?
Yes all batteries that have a usb charging input work the same as a normal 18650. so if you have one you can use it :-)
Hi TrailTrek, Nitecore hc65 or this lumintop? :)

Can you remove the top strap?
Yes the to strap uses an open loop front and back so you can cut it off no problem without destroying the other strap.
Extremely well done review, interesting light! Still happy with my Skilhunt H03 though.
Fair enough, i love my skilhunt its slim and very capable.
Wow you broke that headband lol
Rubber part is to grip hair and skin better when wet

Yep, near Chester . Are you Northumberland ? I use to be able to tell the difference between macan and goerdies etc ( probably spelt goerdies wrong )

ive tried running with a 2 pointer and it was miserable
Is there anywhere other than bangood? I can't buy from them here.
