- Took a run out to Omaha with a pilot friend (tailwheel guys....not his fault) :-)
We met way back as 10-11 year old little geeks at the local library over a game of Dungeons & Dragons. This was back when people thought by playing it we were flirting with the Devil. When our Librarian found out what we were doing she booted us and called our parents....god I love a small town. :-)
We went out too to pick up his Daughter from college and bring her home for Thanksgiving. This is the flight back. I hope all of you have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
I just bought my 1958 Comanche 250 about a month ago. Learning a lot from your videos, Mike. Thanks!
Well, welcome to the insane asylum. :-)
@@pipercomanche2506 any recommendations on how to get some time in a Comanche 250 with an instructor? I’m willing to travel
@@YouSoCouldHaveGotMe go-to the Facebook group and ask if there are any instructors near you
@@pipercomanche2506 okay thanks, I signed up for the group, haven’t been accepted in yet
@@pipercomanche2506 would you mind asking the moderator to approve my request to join the group? Still pending
1st Post: Gimme Jelly Donut!
Perfect airplane. I wish they still made them. What replaced it if anything?
Hi Russ, Piper stayed with the Piper Arrow that was produced at the Vero Beach Florida plant. Not the same performance but still decent.
@@pipercomanche2506 thank you for the quick response! Okay cool, cuz I just wanted something else to look for since Comanches are hard to come by. Merry christmas!
Is your glare shield a Knots 2 U?
Hi Captain,. I have no idea. It was in the plane when I bought it and I cannot find an entry in the log book specifically for the glare sheild
@@pipercomanche2506 Ok thanks. I was thinking of getting a similar one for my Piper Arrow.
