I always knew they were going to do a conservation pack one day, and it simply wouldn't have been complete without the scimitar-horned oryx (the poster child for animals that are extinct in the wild) and the famously endangered axolotl. Really happy to see them added. It's also doing its job because many people had never heard of the oryx before PZ announced it. Awareness is key in conservation.
@@ignightroad ZT2 simply didn't have an Extinct in the Wild option so they went with the next best thing. It's worth noting that there is a mostly succesful reintroduction program in Chad; controlled breeding programs just don't count as "wild" to IUCN.
I just feel like they could’ve added a few more animals. Not a big gripe. I just remember the North America pack had so many. Maybe idk. A Yangtze River Dolphin, Tasmanian Devil, some more? What are some other ideas people would be interested in if they had added more?
North America was an animal pack, just like the South East Asia Animal pack and the Wetlands Animal Pack 😊 all animal only packs have 8 animals.. most "normal" packs incl 4 habitat animals with sometimes 1 exhibit animal + over 150 pieces of new building stuff, scenery stuff, etc 😊
I love insect hotels! Fianlly the bee educational board has a reason to exist haha. I would love if we get more insect exhibits, butterfly domes, cocoon displays, bee hives and such.
The behavior you saw at 13:27 is grooming, horses do that all the time :) I love that they added that behaviour, and the Przewalski's Horse itself since I've been wanting more equines in the game (along with birds lol)
The horses having an interspecies bonus with the camels is a surprise! Working on a Franchise zoo now and planned to add the Horses instead of the camels. Now I can have both!
Bought this straight away after work today! I always loved the Przewalski's Horse in Zoo Tycoon 2, and the fact we get more backstage props? I'm so excited to make the back area more lived in! Although, I still can't get over the Siamang calls. Really brought me back to playing zoo tycoon 2 for hours on the kitchen computer when I was little. It's such a distinct call, one of the biggest memories I have of the game.

The animals look wonderful and I love the little garden tool items, I"m so glad they are making pieces colorable more often now and the foliage...more plants? yes please! The signs and the statues look amazing too. Can't wait to see what you build with the new updates.

I've wonder if they are ever going to come out with animal transport containers for the back-stage areas. The keepers, caretakers and vets use the wooden crates, but the plastic ones would be much more modern. I watch Zoo programs on Animal Planet and the Nat Geo channels and see them using them all the time. Besides that, I really love all the new tools and stuff with this DLC. I'm already starting to use them, of course. :) Thanks for showcasing all the new items and animals, Deladysigner. I always enjoy your episodes.

Haven't bought it yet but I would love to see a companion pack for the conservation pack for zoo veterinary services, which can go along with the general theme and provide some education about how conservation zoos can help nurse and care for animals and help rewild them or help increase the population of threatened animals.
I pre-ordered yesterday and just got the chance to check out all the new items. I think this might be a top pack for me. I've been waiting for good construction items. I also just got the Europe pack, also a lot of really nice items in there.
@@DeLadysigner I think overall this pack really is a good one. It was cheaper than any other pack I've purchased and it included a handful of nature AND construction items. It's not perfect but, better than a few other packs.
The Siamang, Oryx, and the Horse are all great. The Siamang animations are amazing. Just waiting for a Papua pack with Croc monitors now (please Frontier).

Love the foiliage and the animals! Don't care much for any of these building pieces except for the different vegetables. I think the Amur Leopard looks beautiful, just not sure about the eyes of the adults. Other than that the animals are incredible!
The amur leopard isn't bad, it's just not up to the standards of the recent cats, but at least they used a style that was used before with the animal signs. Now they just need to do that with the statues.

Hey, it's been long time I'm not watching content. The last video that I watched is European Pack, and now there are wetlands pack and conservation pack. I'm still love to watch your content. I hope you are okay, and don't forget to get some rest.
My family just went camping at our local zoo. Made the mistake of camping near the howler monkeys. Zookeeper gave them a treat at 5:30 in the AM. They were the 5 am alarm clock that’s for sure.
Lol the fact that they would even give u the option to camp near them is hilarious. They should have warned you but at least you have great memories now 😂

You are so welcome! It is indeed less stuff than previous packs :) I think a lot of time went into the Siamang climbing animations and the free update (of which one is updating 85% of all the animals with sniffing behaviors).
I really do hope they remodel the amur leopard, because all the other animals in the pack look amazing. I feel like not as much effort was put into the leopard at all. It doesn't have any actual leopard sounds, the animations are weird, the model is super disproportioned to a real leopard in every aspect, and the pattern is extremely inaccurate and looks like someone drew it. It honestly might have looked better if they referenced a normal leopard and then just made the fur super puffy, and even then some amur leopards have much shorter hair.
I feel like they could’ve added a few more animals. Not a big gripe and I’m fine with this. I just remember the North America pack had so many. Maybe idk. A Yangtze River Dolphin, Tasmanian Devil, some more birds? What are some other ideas people would be interested in if they had added more?
Already replied this somewhere else to you.. but there is a difference between these packs with 4 (sometimes + 1 exhibit animal) and building pieces, etc.. and animal packs which have 8 animals :) They work in a small team at Frontier, so its either one or the other way of making a pack :) they don't have enough people to make them bigger im afraid :)

I am very surprised to see a synergie between a horse and a camel. It is well known what generally speaking, horse are scared by the smell of camels. So ok, they are maybe specials ^^
I am sad to say that the new conservation pack is not working for me. I can only see and use them in sandbox mode. There is nothing available in franchise mode. But they do look nice.

It doesn’t work very well though. The horses need more grass and cold weather. The camels don’t like the grass and want sand and hot weather

I would love them in 2 sizes, the large ones don’t always fit but it’s my favourite of the art styles for signs!

The horse reminds me quite a bit of the Icelandic horse. Smaller and stockier than other horses.
When I saw this, it immediately reminded me of the Minnesota Zoo, which has almost every single animal from this pack
bee, ladybird, and butterfly VFX would make sense with the signs they added in this pack and the wetlands pack... real shame they didnt include those

well, there just is a free grass texture path :) but I don't think its really the same green as the ground textures :)
