I had my first Candy Roaster Squash several years ago. I bought it from a market in Easley, SC that got it from a farmer in NC. It was so big and heavy I think I paid over $25 for it. I saved some seeds and planted a few the next spring in a raised bed and couldn't believe , like you showed in the video, how quickly the vines took off. They grew outside the bed and all over the yard. I had the fruit resting on patio furniture and the vines were all over the place. I think they might be one of the most fun and exciting squash varieties to watch grow.

I'm always happy to see new types of vegetables to grow.
Will this grow well in Zone 6A, Central NY area?
I had 6 lovely plants growing here in the UK, sadly the local foxes dug up and destroyed the lot. I'll have to wait until next year now
