    Hey Steven! Just went to look for the category listing report and my drop down is different than the one shown at 0:38. Someone in the comments advised to open a ticket to try and gain access to that report so will try that first

      That's correct. You just need a ticket to get access

    HI - have figured out how to download the catalog now that amazon has removed the catalog report? I can no longer find anywhere to download the filled out catalog template any longer.

      You need to open the case and ask them. It will become available for another ca. 7 days (within 24h)

    Love the video! Thanks for the information, I wanted to do the same for UK/EU but the "catalog" option does not exist?

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  Год назад +1

      I apologize for any confusion. The availability of certain options, such as the "catalog" option, may vary depending on the specific region or marketplace within Amazon. It's possible that the "catalog" option you mentioned may not be available for the UK/EU marketplace.
      To better understand the specific options and features available for the UK/EU marketplace, I recommend reaching out to Amazon Seller Support or consulting the Amazon Seller Central resources specific to that region. They will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information and guidance on how to manage your catalog and listings in the UK/EU marketplace.
      Additionally, you can consider seeking assistance from an Amazon consultant or expert familiar with selling on the UK/EU marketplace. They can provide personalized guidance and support based on their experience and knowledge of the specific region.
      Remember to always stay informed about the guidelines and requirements for selling on the UK/EU marketplace to ensure compliance and maximize your success.

    This stopped working for me last week. I can still download the CLR, but when I upload it via Add Product Via Upload, Amazon no longer accepts or recognizes the file. Tips? Ideas? Has something changed?

    Do you think it's ok to request it on the dashboard and leave it there in the list rather than needing to actually down, move it to a folder and save?
    Any of the other reports in the drop down also worth doing as regularly?

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  Год назад

      It is generally recommended to download the requested Amazon Catalog report and save it in a separate folder on your computer for future reference. Keeping it in the dashboard may not be the best idea as it could potentially get lost or deleted.
      As for other reports in the drop-down, it depends on your specific business needs and goals. Some reports, such as the Inventory Health report and the Stranded Inventory report, can provide valuable insights into your inventory management and help you identify and address any issues. Other reports, such as the Search Term report and the Advertising report, can provide insights into your advertising campaigns and help you optimize your campaigns for better performance. It's a good idea to regularly review and analyze these reports to stay informed about your business and make data-driven decisions.

    Quick question. So I downloaded the catalog report and attempted to use it to update my UPC Codes. I made a copy of the downloaded file, updated the codes, set the update column to partialupdate, and then uploaded in the Add Products via Upload section. It gives me an error that basically says the data provided for a given ASIN is different than what is already in Amazon's Catalog (no duh). It further instructs me to update my data to match what is in Amazon's Catalog, which obviously is not what I want. Any way to get this thing to update the product Id?

      It's possible that the data you are trying to update is conflicting with Amazon's existing data. Here are some things to check:
      Make sure you are using the correct product identifier (UPC, EAN, or ISBN) for each product. If you are trying to update a UPC code and Amazon has the product listed with an EAN code, for example, it will not recognize your update.
      Check if there are any other updates that need to be made to the product information. It's possible that other fields in the product information have changed, and you need to update those as well. For example, if the title or description has changed, you will need to include those updates in your catalog file.
      Check for any formatting errors in your catalog file. Make sure the values you are using are formatted correctly and match the specifications outlined by Amazon.
      If you are still having trouble updating your product information, you may need to contact Amazon's seller support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and provide guidance on how to update your product information correctly.

    Does this backup also the reviews for each asin? If not, is there a way to backup the reviews as well?

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  Год назад

      Hello, The "Back Up Your Amazon Catalog Data" feature, also known as the "CLR All Listings Report," does not include reviews for each ASIN. This report only includes information about your listings, such as the title, ASIN, price, quantity, and other details.
      To back up your reviews, you can use the Amazon Reviews Downloader tool, which allows you to download all your product reviews from Amazon. This tool will download all the reviews for each ASIN, including the reviewer's name, date of review, rating, and the text of the review.

    Thank you I’ll be using this.
    I have a problem with Amazon switching my listings to UPC. Even though they were created as EAN . (Uk seller)
    Can I use a flatfile update to override the selection yo be EAN and gain accses to my listings again?
    Meaning I cannot update the listings anymore. Because the ean/upc selection drop down is locked.
    Seller support is totally unable to even acknowledge a system error.

      Yes you can change the product identifier with this file

      If someone changed the ean to upc did you not have brand registry in place?
      You can rectify but I'm more worried about the listing control than the field
