Bro, I'm not kidding, I've pumped over 1.5k hours into this game for some stupid reason I never thought to change the camera lower. I just got used to it like it was and new updates didn't feel right. As soon as I changed my camera settings (same as yours but with a bit more vertical height) I started enjoying the game again. Def agree wit this that the custom camera options its super nice. i have mine set to a low angle but Horizontal Offset kinda panned off too the side a tad more than default as if i was being filmed. I also keep the VX filter on in game with a world filter to kinda kill some of that yellow tint from the VX one. Cause from what i remember VX's didnt have THAT much of a yellow tint to them.. it just looked less saturated iirc.. idk ... but yea.. the right camera cam make this game feel waaaay different in a good or bad way if you dont have it set right/how u like

I'm a Skate 3 player. And I was so glad they had option to change camera. I don't like looking up my skaters asshole. I get for filming sakes for edits but I skate the wide camera so I can see EVERYTHING!
You can tilt the camera up to have your head cut out less... you also have way more of the ground showing than you need. I think your angle can still be tweaked a bit better.

hm- i like the idea but this makes any sort of trick down anything essentially blind. if it were higher up and tilted down i feel like this would make it feel less "too close to the ground"
Will have to try this just started playing the other day and I feel like I have to be flying to do anything so I’m fast pushing constantly plus I haven’t changed a single setting everything is default
I have a stat menu and general settings video coming in the next couple days that goes over everything in detail so keep an eye out for that. One of the settings that I go over is turning both the push force and push speed all the way up because tricks really do look better when going at a reasonable speed.
This is a very,very difficult game to plat but the more you put in the easier you get a trick dialed.Just like real skating.Ive had a hell of a time getting used to the controls but they do warn from the gate.

Probably because the code is a mess and no one can do anything with it. So we are stuck with the same 3 landing animations and stiff robotic looking grinds

While this looks awesome to watch or view.... I can imagine trying to play the game with these camera settings...like how the hell do you see what's coming up....I mean I get you might plan a line or something but if yer just free flowing....a lot of uni owns coming outta no where at you

really? it took some time, but now I love the controls. I guess they just click for me. I find it hard to go back to Skate and SkaterXL because i've become so accustomed to these controls.
I can appreciate the points you make in the video but... that looks terrible! You can only see the skater's legs lol. It's a general rule in skateboard filming that no part of the body should be cut off

also keeping pitch tracking ratios low helps a lot to hide ugly animations

You can with a mod on PC but unfortunately you can't with the vanilla game or on console. But yeah I have my skater XL cam set low also.

Session skate lost me with the controls. Great graphics, but it sucks, the price got reduced on psn because of how hard it is.
