This is a segment from "Hirakawa Shimono no Kimi no Tame nara ganbare chau yo! Anikon Radio Voice Kyarabii," hosted by Shimono Hiro and Hirakawa Daisuke in 2010. Shimonnu can probably buy alcohol nowadays lol. Yeah I know it's not Kimetsu Radio, but it's easier to find the right expressions when they're anime characters okayyy.

The cast of KNY is so stacked that we have situations like this, where we have two seiyuu from a radio show from a decade ago and both seiyuu would be part of the KNY cast in some way (and one of them isn’t even in the main cast) It’s the same thing with radio misty too
Yuki should be voicing an important role in KnY tbh, but they cast him as Sabito instead

I literally screamed the first time i saw a more recent video of him (for Koi to Producer) even though i have no idea what he was saying in it 😂 I'm relatively new to the seiyuu fandom so a lot of the older stuff he was in I haven't seen and they've just disappeared from the internet... Ah I wish i could have been in the fandom when everyone was talking about him a few years ago...

To help out the "young looking people" out there who are actually drinking age:
I've found people tend to assume you're old enough if you...
a) Dress "Mature".
b) Order/Buy Something Specific.
Both of them basically come down to looking like you know what you're doing.
It can be hard for people to "act" different and looking youthful is something worth perserving, so dressing formal or even semi-formal can make you appear older than you normally do.
Drink choices etc. can make people think you're too young too. I've talked to some bartender friends and certain drinks ring alarm bells when they are ordered. If you order a specific cocktail, a "nice" alcohol, or basically any drink that isn't normally used to get drunk fast, people either assume you're knowledgeable because you're of age or an adult who just wants to enjoy a drink.
Despite being Asian, I never get asked for my ID since I became legal because (I assume) I know my liquors and cocktails pretty well, I usually dress semi-formal or above, and I can hold myself in a mature way. These aren't perfect, let alone tried and true, but these tips should help a bit? I'd be interested in hearing what other people do.

A few days ago I went to a liquor store I had gone to last December (so about 5 months before) and the shop owner recognised me! It was my second time in that store and she still knew who I was haha! When I went to grab my ID she said "It's okay, I remember when you were here last time to buy coffee liqueur." I was shocked!

Ohhhhh I relate so much to Himono-San! I was AT THE GAS STATION, FILLED MY CAR went in and wanted to get a MIXED BEER in my country you can drink these at the age of 16. So I went to the cashier TOLD HIM I WANT TO PAY FOR GASOLINE and my beer. I got asked if I am 16........ (I am 27 by the way) ... Weeeellll.... Same thing in a cinema where I wanted to watch a movie. I feel you dude. I got stop at German's airport immigration once and they asked how old I was.. I'm 25 already 😂 I can travel alone. Most shocking when I was a final year student in S.Korea uni, an elderly lady suddenly asked me "which elementary school do you attend?" since I'm a foreigner living there all alone without my parents etc. I had to make a surprise pikachu face because of the awkwardness~

I can relate with this so much (lol) and I was nodding along for most of the video. Reminded me of the time I went to a bar with some friends as a celebration after entering grad school and I was held back for quite a while while my friends were let in. Showed my ID that showed I was legal BUT the guy at the door looked at it like “yeah right...” (I was 24 at the time). I’m glad I don’t age badly but those kinds of experiences really make me really wish that the age I look like isn’t like 14-ish. ;w;
