keep-up the good work man. you're the only one making resources for v-ray c4d.
I just came across your channel, very impressive stuff... I can suggest you release the first edition for free, the essentials of v-ray, to get your name out there, you're very talented and deserve all the money for your hard work.
Don't give up just yet.
I needed a tutorial like this for cinema 4d, thanks¡¡
You are welcome!
Thanks for sharing, very powerfull tutorials
Thanks;)
That's great! Is there a way to remove specific trees to make some space for a building for exemple?
sure, select the polygons were you need the building, invert the selection, and store the selection. This will generate a polygon selection tag on the landscape, then drag the tag inside the selection slot of the cloner.
Ciao Stefano.
please make a video on how to scatter on some certain places instead of scattering on whole place. thank you
I’ve already answered on our Discord channel!
Domanda dolorosa: io ho una versione vecchia come il cuculo di Cinema4D (r19)... attualmente ci lavoro con Vray3.7
Questa versione 5.2 è compatibile con un Cinema così "arretrato"? Perchè onesto quella libreria oggetti3D già dentro il programma, render real time e tante altre cose sarebbero mooooolto comode
I anted to ask something. I,ve been trying to figure out for a long time if there is a way that i can lock the vfb to the current camera so that when i move in the viewport the vfb stays rendering the camera so that i can see the changes i made in viewport directly from the camera in VFB just like redshift or octane. Though there's one way of doing it by creating an extra viewport but a native option would be great.
Vray works just like Redshift in that regard, once you are using the IPR whatever you do inside the editor (moving camera, changing lights and shaders) will be updated in the VFB.
Hmmm.... I have the latest version of Vray 5, but I have no aerial perspective in the sun object... :(
Hi Harry, you’ll find the aerial perspective in the latest nightly build;)
Nice, ram used? 32gb ?
I used barely 4GB;) 3 Cosmos trees, about 50.000 clones in multi instance mode.
Where are the trees from? Do they come with vray?
@@sidrykchewo yes, they comes for free with the Cosmos browser in Vray5
I'm not familiar with cosmos but are those assets vray proxy objects? one thing that kills me about in cinema implementation is that you can only proxy objects one at a time, unlike max.
Cosmos assets comes in a special format, as soon as you make them editable you can turn them in Vray Proxy. I don't know what you mean when you say that you can only proxy one object at a time, as far as I can tell it works like in Max.
@@3DRenderandBeyond sorry maybe unclear; in max you can select a bunch of assets(trees for example), then proxy each individually as separate .vrmesh files retaining pivots and all that. This is different than proxy “scene” of course.
@@3DRenderandBeyond oh and thank you for the physical sky atmosphere breakdown! saw your post on the forum 👍
@@MrMadvillan ok now I understand;) you can ask developers to add this feature, just open a post on the Cinema4D wishlist on the Chaos forum, they will tell you if it is possible and update the topic when the feature is ready.
HELLO, Please do a video for something to do with photorealistic results with Vray and Cinema 4d. I really need to up the game since can not afford to change to another render engine.
You can open a new topic on the Chaos forum and post some example of your work, then I'll try to help you in increase the realism.
@@3DRenderandBeyond I sent you a private message there as I can not found how to post it as a topic, Sorry to act so desperate.
make more!
How much time did it take for the render these?
I don't remember, probably a few minutes for a 1920x1080 pixel image running on an old 8core machine.
Great! Can i get chaos cosmos for free?
Cosmos is free for every Vray user;)
I have i7 7700 can my pc handle this? Gpu 4gb 1650 oc
Yes, it won’t be very fast but it can surely render this without issues.
please, can we used Vray for an animation short film in c4d ? and does it support mograph ?
Yes you can use Vray for both animations and Mograph stuff, you can download the demo and check that support every feature that you need;)
@@3DRenderandBeyond coool
what do you use to get the clouds in there
To get clouds you can use environment fog+gizmo+noise or use a Vray volume grid object and load a VDB file (here you can see how to do that: ruclips.net/video/-UpSNqJvgJw/видео.html )
@@3DRenderandBeyond thanks :)
If you have request about tutorial just ask;)
Vray 5 settings explained and scene optimization?
i would like to know more about setting up translucent materials like wine,honey,milk... or recommend a tutorial with such for vray5,Thank you
@@3D4FUN I'll see what I can do;)
Plant material, grass, leaf, trunk
@@hapichteam will try to do that, that being said in this scene I’ve simply used the default shaders from the Cosmos assets trees.
what a good computer... lol
Dear 3D Render and Beyong!
I use Forester plugin for some projects to generate vegetation. Does the current Vray 5.2 support the Forester plugin? When I tried to use it with older versions of the Vray, the Vray did not want to display foliage in render (does not allow me to play with the render count of trees), and I had to enable the full display of foliage in the viewport. This often caused the software to crash.
Thanks.
I do not use Forester but I'm pretty sure the support was already added at least for the rendering, don't know about the viewport.
