As a dad who just got back from a Disney trip last month, this video was super enjoyable for me. I really enjoyed how you gave such an in depth look at the bag. I carried a Vertx Last Call. It was basically a huge stuff sack but carrying it from morning till dusk, I didn’t have any complaints. I did want to know, what was the pouch you pulled out with the magic bands in it? I really liked the size and look of it. Thanks!
That would be a size of medium pouch from HartfordGearCo on Etsy. www.etsy.com/listing/950049434/ I use it for a few things, but it was the perfect size for 3 magic bands.
My wife loves her kavu pouch that i got her, to each their own find something you like. She uses it as her wallet now on the daily. Just got back from disney as well.
Considering grabbing one of these for a daily/hiking/travel bag. I'm assuming this bag fits the TSA criteria for personal item, correct? Might add another mesh pocket w/ zipper on the top small zipper pocket. I hate mesh for the side bottle storage.
We did take a charter flight, but I was not stopped at all. And this is probably one of the smallest bags I ever used for travel. I normally use a carry on roller bag and a 30l pack. And I have never been stoped by TSA or a gate agent.
I was very close to the daylite plus. I had a tab open on my phone of that bag for months. I ultimately didn’t get it because it did have a stretchy front pocket. Yes it had a beaver tail, but that wasn’t what I wanted in my head. I figured if I’m not getting the stretch pocket, I’ll use my Galligator. I already own it, it’s pink so Hazel Fantastic loves it, and I didn’t mind sewing a patch panel in it. Having had a nano 20 in the past and really liked the bag, it just turned out to be a bit too small. The 24 seemed like a great fit for what I wanted. And it came out like a month before the trip. It seemed like it was meant to be.
I just ordered the nano 20 and daylite plus since they are both a similar size. I’ll have to decide which style I like better. Because it’s called a “plus” I was thinking the nano 24 was a good comparison, but actually the nano 20 would be a more apt comparison.
Just got back from disney and universal, my wife says I love backpacks like women do purses. We used the hyrdoflask slingpack and a kavu sling. Was this able to fit in the locker for tron? The ones we took did and am worried this is a full size backpack. I always go to skateboard/snowboard brands because they are meant to beat the crap out of. I have a burton bag i have used for over 20 years
I didn’t make it on Tron. The full day at magic kingdom the que was full. The second day I got a spot, but we were at Boo to You and I lost track of time ( and my daughter was dead tired). I also have a Burton bag form over 20 year a ago and it is still going strong. I got a newer one a few years ago and 6 month later it was in shambles. Those old skate/snowboard bags were tanks. Now they are out sours and made of cheap materials.
Pretty sure the nano24 would fit in tron locker no problem. Early this year I went I had an old Swiss gear backpack with a million pockets and even *gulp* a cd player pocket. Fit in locker no problem. Disney is super backpack friendly. Ironically that trip set me on the quest to find a better bag and now I’m a jeffgrantmedia junkie.
This would not be considered “packable.” it has a non-removable padded back panel. But it would lay fairly flat. So you can either put this in a suitcase and just lay on the bottom and put your clothes on top of it. Or it would probably be able to lay flat inside a larger, backpack for travel.
Hope you had a great time! Thanks for doing this detailed wrap up video.
It was a much different experience than I remembered. But when my daughter said her favorite ride was EVERY ride, I knew we all had a great time.
Your vid helped my decision on this pack. It’s on its way in the mail. Thanks
@@dime275 awesome! I’m glad I was helpful. Did you get the labor day sale?

That Bluey patch is awesome!

It seems like the Osprey daylite plus would be a competitor to this. How would you compare the two?

@@RealMuperSan let me know what one you keep. I still toss around the idea of getting a daylite plus.

a jeffgrantMEDIA junkie! I like the sound of that! Thank you very much for watching.
How would this work as a “packable” backpack? Can this be rolled up or folded? Thanks!
