(4K) Air Nostrum (Iberia) CRJ-1000 | Alicante to Madrid | Flight Video - IB8393

(EC-LJR) 28/06/16 - Air Nostrum, Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-1000 (CL600-2E25) takeoff from Alicante-Elche to Madrid Barajas airport with a 45 minute delay.
Sorry for the cut in the footage after takeoff, the battery in the camera died so using sleight of hand, I had to replace the battery and resume recording. The flight was delayed primarily due to the French airstrike which resulted in the amount of slot times as well as passenger baggage. The window position from row 21 upwards is very annoying. They are between the seats which makes it very awkward to film. We taxied using the number 2 engine and the Spanish pilots used very high thrust for taxiing at one point to get us in the air as soon as possible. The flight was generally smooth but became turbulent on approach into Madrid where we were put in a holding pattern prior to arrival. It is an aircraft that maneuvers quite a lot and every movement can be felt to a bigger extent to as you would feel in a standard A320 for example. It makes it more fun! The landing was smooth, took some time to touchdown but it wasn't a concern since the entire runway was useful, with the terminal being at the far end. Apart form the delay, the flight was good.

Great footage! I like these small little CRj's. I've onlt been on one for an hour long flight from KDTW (Detroit) to CYYZ (Toronto). It was a CRj-200. They are like little pocket rockets! Fast and small. A bit too small, haha. Also does anyone know what that blue CRj was in front of the BA jet at around 6:50?
