It is amusing to hear about "every livestream is about infighting" being a problem, since most of these livestreams are 2 to 6 hours long. A lot of topics are covered. Mike, Doug, Pockets, Mummies, CG Projects, Movies, Wolf Milk, Being too Drunk, Being too Sober, Comics, Soy, Lucille Ball, ect ... RUclips entertains a multitude of people and CG is more than just EVS. The reason you hear more about anti-CG than the actual comics industry is because it's already dead and they are not changing, it's decomposing. EVS , Zack and CG have changed the game more than anyone thought was possible. I think the only major thing holding CG back at this point is an affordable and reliable fulfillment center. I have a feeling once Ya Boiz lawsuit is settled that will be lead to a new path of fulfillment.

The issue is Jeremy thinks RUclips is an ends unto itself. People within Comicsgate understands that Comicsgate is about comics, not RUclips. RUclips is a tool, a promotional arm for Comicsgate, not an end unto itself.

The quartering is being a douchey big baby about all of this. But his overarching criticism is poignant. Channel growth is important to bring in new people(ie. Videos making fun of star wars etc.) And talking about dirt worm, miller, Edwin, etc. Is a waste of time. Only some deeply entrenched CG'ers will care about it. Big picture - I am not a comic book guy but I do appreciate great art and have bought comics as a child (road trip/plane rides). I, likely would have never found this channel without the daily content. I had no idea who you were before this channel. I got invested from the long form content and interaction you had building the books/movement and great guests (mostly) sprinkled in with some of the drama. I think his complaint is that you are no longer reaching people like me when you don't do daily content.

Please don't forget what happened to bloodsports. Every single idiot within that crowd was screaming how they're doing better than ever and how everyone pointing out their drop in quality or their egos spiraling out of control were talking bullshit. Every one of them was saying that right up to the point of crashing and burning and even beyond it, resulting in some glorious trainwrecks. Even if this stuff hasn't reached critical mass yet within CG it can. As someone who pops in and out of CG I hope that the whole thing can stay focused on the work and less on the quality of the character of the creators.

With some CG refusing to lose the fight to save DC&M and will rather sink with the ship than admit is sinking. While other already boarded the safe boat planing on the next ship to build. (assuming they do have a plan of where this all be moving forward. Like start a new company to put all this comics on and grow, instead of all been separate one)

Big picture - I am not a comic book guy but I do appreciate great art and have bought comics as a child (road trip/plane rides). I, likely would have never found this channel without the daily content. I had no idea who you were before this channel. I got invested from the long form content and interaction you had building the books/movement and great guests (mostly) sprinkled in with some of the drama. I think his complaint is that you are no longer reaching people like me when you don't do daily content.
