👍🏻 thanks for sharing. They actually make a tool ( Stanley 12-101 ) it’s a small planer that works real good removing the lip. You can set it different heights. But a knife works too lol .

I use a mini Stanley block plane to shave my tongues off. Get the mini. The blade extends almost to the edge of the block plane. They are super fast and do a awesome job! I do it on laminate and vinyl plank! Wood glue on wood and clear gorilla glue on vinyl. By the way I just subscribed. I would love to win a tool! Did they send you any of those Striker blocks by chance?

If you have tongue lock - or lip just put the tongue lock in first, drop it in place and slide it in works aswell

It's best to make sure you never have full pieces in doorways with laminate when in both jams, always plan your rows so you don't have trouble pieces
