@@actualcasual7504 Kyle's also a very perceptive person, with a likeable demeanor. It seems entirely like the people he pulled around him just enjoyed his presence more than anything so he got away with gathering up these stories.

Hell, even when they had us return our trays, I would be scavaging off of other peoples leftovers LMAO I was HUNGRY up in that MFer...

In a county in PA, Mack's were about 2.50. Tuna was 3.5 for 3.55 ounce. 1 single ramen pack was .90cents

Yeah, based on his stories and Larry Lawton, we definitely need to do a better job rehabilitating these people instead just locking them up. Many of these people don't seem like they're criminals but instead just got dealt a shit hand or made a mistake.
Hell it seems like people in prisons value camaraderie and loyalty even more than many people do outside of prison.

It comes with the territory, it's the same for most dangerous.. eh.. occupations, you need to have a fucked up sense of humor to deal with it, some are of course absolute psychos, but probably not in minimum security prison.
Lots of wasted talent behind the walls man.. I often was blown away from the guys who were musically talented. Laying alone with only four walls but hearing someone singing/rapping well really made a huge difference. It’s crazy. It’s not a place you ever want to visit.

The currency.....Macs are protein PLUS they base stuff like that off size as well.
In a lot of prisons stamps are/were currency because they are 25 cents a stamp and you can store more “currency” in a smaller space.

2:00 I remember when someone did a 'radio' call in Cali over their soap... (you do a radio to shut everyone up, general respect, radio means some sort of things is being announced, like if something is missing or if theres church services etc.) .. well it was a state soap.. and dude said he was gonna check cells haha everyone started laughing when he got to the cell check point someone yelled out 'what are you a fucking cop' and then they fought.. over state soap.. that dude forgot in the shower n someone prob threw away lmao. Shit was wild

9:53 some folks including me have light sensitive eyes, I always sunglasses during the day. Even got some indoor/outdoor mirror safety glasses when working in manufacturing, those new LEDa are bright!

He got weed delivered to him via mail. The feds found out and raided his house, finding more weed. They threw way more crimes at him than he deserved and he took a plea deal that included 2 months jail time
@@spacelevator also somebody painted a camo on one of his seized gun and obscured the serial numbers on it which is a felony
The state case fell apart and the feds took over, they arguably overcharged with things like intent to distribute by smoking weed with his girlfriend one time, or a gun finishing shop letting some paint fill in the serial number and calling it possession of a firearm with altered serial number. Basically charged 25 years worth of felonies and pleading away most of it except a single 0-6 month charge the judge gave him 2 for.

I mean, many of these stories sound very believable. Especially if you listen to other guys who were locked up in low security prisons.
A lot of shit can happen in two months. There's a lot of interesting characters in prison, and when you pack them all together like a sardines in a can, craziness is bound to ensue.
