Kevin Gates Talks Birdman & Wayne Schooling Him

www.vladtv.com - Kevin Gates talks being managed by YMCMB's Fee and his relationship with Birdman. The Louisiana rapper reveals that he was supposed to be signed to Young Money, but says he was inspired by his first talk with Birdman to follow in the music mogul's footsteps.
The "Satellites" rapper also discusses going in the studio with Lil Wayne, and Kevin says Weezy really educated him on how to grind in the lab. He reveals that the "How to Love" rapper was in the studio every day, "acting like he didn't have a dollar in his pocket." Kevin says watching Wayne's work ethic influenced him to go harder with his career and really shine.

After listening to kevin gates music and interviews, I left the streets all the bad doings all that shit...now am at university full time, am doing civil engineering....so thanks to Gates for opening my mind and showed me there's nothing for me in these streets.....Kevin saved my life literally, cause my niggas are up for like 6-10 years in jail now, and I have a little situation but it's better than that....thank you Gates I hope some niggas will see the light...........
