Thank you so much for this video GRASSMEN! I start work there on 31/01/2022 apparently THE only woman on the site! So nice to see everything - makes starting a new job so much less stressful. I will be working as a retro fitter on the 900 (currently) tractors that need mods post assembly line. Like Alan Holt I have driven past the plant so many times, never thought I’d be working there!
I have been working as a transmission tester at New Holland Antwerp for 13years now. Very cool to see the final production and testing process. Makes me a tiny little proud I guess 😅
Got to say I really enjoyed the video, very interesting. Im from NY and never knew tractors were made in and shipped from the UK. Im not a farmer, but do enjoy tractors, skid loaders, trucks. I drove a Mack truck for 10 years up/down the east coast of the US. and enjoy all types of heavy machinery. My brother owns and operates a company with alot of equipment. It be a great place to tour and see a build up close like you did. Nice job, Keep up the good work guys !
I've lived my whole life in this town, I've driven passed this plant 1000s of times. My rugby club is directly next to the perimeter fence (our home ground is known as the Onion Bowl because of the plants huge water tower that looms over the pitches). I regularly see the the glass cabins double stacked on lorries waiting on the industrial estates for their last minute delivery slot. I've known several workers but tonight....ages 43 this is the first time I have seen what the production line looks like. Great video, amazing product long may these magnificent machines remain in our town.
I am proud to say I worked for CNH for 35 years before I took early retirement and I am proud of the tractors we built I was the technical coordinator for both the production line and eventually the Road Test Centre
Honestly bro, I work at this plant and one little mistake is always pulled up by the managers. Enjoyable work environment but stressful at times. We get plenty of breaks though
mitzvah golem I wouldn't fancy a tractor made in China, it would be reading your emails and sending back data on your soil and what you are using the tractor for.
I seen the first (that i have seen) factory fitted pick up hitch here in New Zealand last week on a T6.175, was very surprised to see it, also had the standard drawbar mounted to the cab step.
Nice video. They talked about special colors for the chassis. Could you get it in blue to match the bonnet color? I might be a little traditional here. The white wheels looks better to me on a blue tractor.
I think the reason we use pick up hitches is because a front axle trailer would be very hard to pull in wet uk conditions. Our trailer design in the uk/ ROI puts a decent weight on the back wheels increasing the tractors traction. The tractors back wheel is a large diameter and therefore doesn't sink as much as a trailers wheel would. With a front axle trailer you would have to put extra ballast weight on the tractor and the overall weight of the outfit would increase and you would inevitably bog.
That makes no sense in denmark and other parts of europe we use the same stile of trailers and we use another type of drawbar, all the pickup hitch is good for is that its easyer to hook up
Some questions for you Grassmen. 1 > why are the back tractor wheels on most tractors always bigger on the back than the front? You should have them the same size due to the need of ground pressure and grip. 2 > when the all electric tractors come in to replace the older smelly noisy expensive to maintain and run soon to be banned Diesel tractors and other farming machines? Will you be pleased to change over to electric ones since you be saving up to 60% on maintaining and running costs as you be able to make your own electric with farm based wind turbines and solar. 3> why are the UK factory not using Goodyear tires for their tractors? use British tires for British made tractors not use the French Michelin tires. Is the Case company now owning the New Holland brand? 4> does the Italians run the company now?
Electric Tractors will never replace desiel. Back wheels are bigger because the weight of mounted implements, weight distribution and traction with trailed implements. Man made climate change is a myth, climate is has always has changed over thousands of years, how do you think the past ice ages happened?
😂😂😂. I wasn't sure how to spell Scorsese. Lol. And Cameron's avatar was the same shade of blue. Ffs don't start me 🤣🤣🤣. Keep up the great work Garath. I had a daughter go to Orlando with "make a wish" a few years ago. You lads do wonders. Thx.
How times change! In 1964 when the Plant opened they didn't any 4Wd tractors. Now a 2WD 'must be a special order. Actually, when you think about it, they are all special orders.

first view of GM - excellent work and CNH guides. Impressive investment by FIAT since Fordson.
Interesting video. I bought a New Holland T7.190 about a month ago. She will be sprayed in terracotta (the old Fiatagricolour).

I thought that Case IH builds everything up to the Optum in St. Valentin in Austria?
Cool video!

Nice Video !
The tractors sold in the States and Canada still need emission stuff. It’s countries in South America that don’t need it.
new Holland, what a machine
Hi cookie swirl c you are so nice and good for Christmas 🎄

Midget But there is very little weight on the tractor with a front axle trailer
AgriSpec yes I know but we use both types of trailer here
AgriSpec we use either a oldschool pin hitch or a ballhitch
AgriSpec I
Iam lraqi lvery love this tractor
good think
I didn’t realise they made case on the same line. Thought they had switched manufacturing to Austria
